  1. On one job, we turned up masses of carp everywhere, I told her about it, she said no worries I'll clear it up, shegot the mower out and bare footedly mowed through the lot ''without'' the grass collector, it was just like watching a muck spreader in action! we cleared off..........
  2. On a heavy shite infestation, I'd knock on the door tell the customer, dog carp is a company H&S violation, heres my card call me when you've cleared every last bit up, but until then we're off to the next job, thanks for your cooperation, 9 times out of 10 the'yd clear it up and call me back
  3. I already said that chief I have owned two 150's the 200 is far better, you don't notice it chipping poles [or other Eastern Europeans lol] its when chipping nasty stuff like fruit and oak you notice the difference, constant snedding when using a 150 drove me mental, watching employees huff and puff, struggle and finally loose it drove me suicidal lol and all that jamming up in the roller housing you don't get that with a schleising
  4. I'd tip whatever chip is on the truck in the driveway, and leave the brash as it fell, I'd post a note through the door telling them that the '' jobs hard enough with out getting covered in dog shite, get some other mug in'' I passed on a job a few weeks ago strimming down weeds and grass, masses dog carp in various stages of decay, I can do without! what made me sick was shite was all over the kids trampoline.........
  5. No but its better than a TW 150 which is a comparable comparison, and a 220 would out chip a 190 in a heartbeat, time is money I'd rather a double the price Schliesing than a TW, Schliesing roller power/fork breaking saves on time/money and operator fatigue.....
  6. Every greentooth i've seen has had a chip of tungsten taken out of it, I don't like them personally, yellow jackets look ok though, i used to like the vermeer pro tooth myself, trouble is the take an age to change
  7. IMO a waste of time, a quad and crane trailer simply doesn't carry enough weight, you could carry more with a landy and ifor, the crane imo is a waste of time too, I could handball nearly as fast as one of those small cranes, granted if access is tight you might get a hire or if the site is sensitive
  8. Dream on brother..............
  9. I was agreeing with your post up until this part, the truth is Schliesing chippers out chip anything on the market that I've used, the power of the rollers makes them a cut above the rest, crunching up those forks, is where its at!
  10. Hmmm maybe not
  11. Crystal meth I bet...........
  12. I spoke to Mike a few days ago on the phone, he's having a month shut down, but I'm sure Prochip will be open for business in September
  13. I agree with Peter hiabs on 7.5 toners is a waste of time, the best lorry for tree work is by far the Isuzu, they are the best weight carriers in the 7.5 ton class, I had one and would have another in a heartbeat
  14. and bump again roll up roll up any takers for the quiz.................
  15. There are a few mate i'm sure they'll be along soon
  16. Are these dolphins an endangered species?
  17. I belted one with a shovel once, that taught the tw@t to stand there watching us work, ok so we cut his home down! tough move on! get over it! plenty of folk have to relocate:biggrin:
  18. Bacterial canker of cherry The causal agent is Pseudomonas syringae pv morsprunorum. Susceptible trees include Prunus avium (wild cherry) and its ornamental and fruiting varieties and other Prunus species including plums, peach and apricot. Symptoms usually consist of scattered shoots which fail to flush in the spring, but sometimes this can affect entire branches or even whole young trees. Close inspection will reveal large areas of dead and dying bark, usually girdling shoots or branches, and an amber coloured gum also exudes from affected areas. During the summer the bacteria which cause the cankering can be found on the cherry leaves causing brown spots. Cracks develop around the brown spots, so the discoloured tissue falls out to leave the so-called ‘shot hole’ symptom. As well as infecting leaves, the bacterium also infects the bark via scars left after leaf fall and through any injuries. It is apparently inactive over winter, but in early spring can grow rapidly in the bark causing cankers.
