  1. Charlieh, i have my 192t muffler modded, i followed instructions someone put on the treehouse, i think it might have been the mighty uncle Al Smith. Not much to it, if you get stuck i can tell you how i did mine, but, i hope you threw out the spark screen anyway?
  2. Sounds great arborist, will depend on price though, just found out my brother is going to orlando at easter...............bit reluctant to bring me a saw though, said he wanted to fill suitcases with clothes and shoes:heeeelllllooooo:
  3. Sure treemotion, great saw, trouble is its not available in UK. List is $299 US retail but i paid £300 three years ago! Not found French or Dutch price yet. Lancstree, this is the top handled saw, small brother of the 200t. The micco mini bar/chain that the 192t comes with does have a slightly more pointed tip, but its not really a carving bar- in fact i wouldnt use it- just fit the same set up as the 200 has.
  4. Sure Pete, could send her for the saw while i go sight-seeing:wave:
  5. Not had time lately to do much checking pete but a trip to holland is a cheapie at the moment- around £40 per foot passenger return. Obviously the saw would be the only reason for going:drunk:
  6. Dont really know about price over there Jay, suppose i can contact some dealers. Cheers.
  7. As treejumper said, great, ive had mine 4years now i think, put same bar on it as 200t as the mini picco chain is crap supplied with the 192. Mine also has a muffler mod with the spark screen thrown away, giving it lots more power. Its never going to be as powerful as a 200 but its far, far easier to use for pruning. Adam, dont buy one instead of a 200, get one as well as a 200! A saw for every job!
  8. Nice one mate, walked into that i suppose!
  9. Cheers iain, recieved and mailed back.
  10. Never thought about france!
  11. Nice to see mark, reminds me of the days haymaking when i was a lad!
  12. Think its perhaps a common thing, recon i`ll need a new hip in next couple of years:scared:
  13. Take note fallas next time you take the mikky out of a fat bloke:wave:
  14. My 192 is getting on a bit now and im starting to worry about it letting me down. For those who are not familiar with this saw, to put it briefly, mine gets more use than the 200! I have also been asked by a mate where can we buy them from. So the question is, does anyone know the best way to get hold of some?? Also another thing is, if we get them imported without going through a dealer, does the warranty still stand?
  15. Great news Iain, does that include chips, rakings etc? Any chance you could post the letter so we can all run a copy off to keep in the cab?
  16. Just a sneaky snippit for you Anna, totally NAKED;
  17. A saw for each job, i have had a 192t for a few years now, great saw, i WILL buy another! Thinning, lifting, dead wood, any pruning bits -great! It will never be as powerful as the 200 but ive opened the silencer and thrown the spark screen-its a massive difference!

  21. Got the first tree down in 5 hours, had half hour break then just got second done by dark! We lowered near all of both trees, believe me, i was nacked!
  22. Yeh, border collie, think she might get spoilt just a bit. The look in her eyes do it for me!
  23. Oh, before anyone asks, the high felling cut was due to a new chain on the 660 and LOTS of metalwork in the stem!
  24. Couple of Sycamores we took down the other day; Just goes to show, fat lads can climb, just nearly 9 hours on spikes meant i slept very well that night!
  25. Please say hello to Pip, seven weeks old, going to collect her next friday;
