  4. Could never afford anything like that in my youth but heres one i did have- still coundnt afford it though; Bodean, this is pretty near to what i see an american muscle car, front engine, rear wheel drive, lots of power, but handles like its on packed snow all the time, and if you want it to stop, well thats another story.......
  5. Ok Ed, i see you have tried a VT also with the same problem. Just wanted to make sure that you tried adding a wrap to stop the problem? Being around 100kgs myself:wave: i found the same problems you have but always seem to go back to a triple wrap frech prussic with tending pulley. Have you tried that?

  7. Treebogan, you may have lots more rain than us, but you live in a very nice part of the world- think that must make up for it.........
  8. Adam, i know of a 90 coming my way in next few weeks. Its a K reg tho 200tdi and very good condition, same company owned from new. I think the milage is good and it should be around £4-4500. I can let you know if i get my hands on it, if you want.
  9. Dare say thats a job anyone could take pride in, and get some respect and reward from, but, 19k- jeez!
  10. Andy, is that a sycamore you lads have grafted cedar branches to in the second pic?
  11. Looks like the week is a right off for us, then we`re sun bathing at the weekend! http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=2160
  12. Sure andy, i believe you:wave: Nearly as bad this morning as it was yesterday when i looked out! Never mind, going to pick up the new motor this morning.
  13. Had the same one! Thought someone was watching me:scared:
  14. On the other hand, there is always something satisfying about dropping big pops!
  15. Not picking fault, just a thought- why would they be felling the first two trees? Looks like a very mature setting- if you know what i mean. Oh, and his back cut on the first tree was a bit high:)
  16. Yeh, lots to do servicing etc, just frustrating when you got a book full of work but dont want to get pnuemonia either. Bit of a toss up.....
  17. Rain, rain................... Ok, lets be honest, who does keep working through this stuff? Personally i will go out if the weather is ok, but the forcast is bad and then keep working anyway. However if its like it was this morning when i got up NOOOOO way! How far do you "push it"?
  18. Another good use for a vid like that is for training purposes- giving a realistic view of what can happen always helps, at the end of the day like its already been said no amount of safety can make you invincible! Oh, and yes it did shock me, in fact i cringed, but i dont think that makes me a wuss!
  19. I can vouch for that saw- used one recently, gutsy thing and well built without the "full pro" price.
  20. You should get a 361 for well under £500 and it will run 20" ok

  22. Fair cop, i did get the wings but you should see the size of them:cheers:
  23. Yeh i get you butch, i quoted same price to remove or prune and they still went for the reduction! It was anice couple of hours in the sunshine........ Its wierd how 9/11 changed peoples thinking, i guess they think money can be set aside for a rainy day instead of paying for such works.
  24. Thought he would have had a kick back by now, must be still in bed:proud:
  25. Yeh, sure butch i dont do them really just the customer said reduce it or lose it!
