  1. I would suggest you drill both ends of the crack before welding it up.
  2. New iMac don't have optical drive either. You can buy an external one, or download software. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. Is that what I used on that ash takedown at ashwell springs?
  4. Haven't you got a mini loader? I usually push my chipper with the loader if it needs moving any distance. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. Iv dropped a branch on my quadchip. Broke a tiny piece of plastic off the reset button. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. I use the Sena bluetooth motorcycle headset, mostly for phone calls although it does work as intercom too.
  7. Dibs on Lot 4! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. Worth asking again, but the research they had done last time I asked was fairly conclusive. I thought the same as you, still not 100% convinced, but I wouldn't assume there is decay just because there is borer damage. Like you say, 90% of pops have borer holes, but most of them are still standing...... Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. Forest research say there is no link between hornet moth boring and decay Matt. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. Cheers for the recommendation, but if the original body is knackered then putting a Protipper in it isn't a great idea. Fitting a cab star body should be fairly straightforward if the chassis rail spacings are the same. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. You'll have to pay uk vat on it. Unless you smuggle it in under a pile of duty free cigarettes of course. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. This is my current ride.
  13. TM is the only one I'm aware of, if you need to hang from your lanyard in another harness then move the biners to the bridge. Much more comfy anyway.
  14. Used to work for a company based about 5 miles from the Bateson factory, we have 4 or 5 Bateson trailers, all very good trailers. Staff very helpful too, they custom built a tiltbed for a tracked chipper for us.
  15. I run a 1" bar on mine, goes through kindling like you wouldn't believe.
  16. Maccy reduction? Your a braver man than me, the only maccy reductions I do are to 1" tall.
  17. Which Gehl have you used Jash?
  18. I would probably look at a Gehl if I was in the states, the European stuff comes out very expensive over there.
  19. No.
  20. Mini loader in action with a hefty lump of beech.
  21. Before.
  22. Today's ash reduction.
  23. The engelbert Strauss trousers look like they might be worth a punt if you need some cheapies. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. And we have a winner! (You obviously know me far too well, was your next guess going to be willow?)
  25. Not elm.
