  1. It's still pretty early here! I always thought Saddleworth was in a different time zone, you have to set your watch back 50 years........
  2. 2750kg trailer for a pre 97 licence surely? (8250 kg minus 5500kg) If you have full C1+E max train is 12 tonnes, but 9 tonnes train less 5.5 tonnes truck is only 3.5 tonnes anyway, so no need for air brakes.
  3. Nice one Nod and Rob, sounds like a very rewarding project to be involved with.
  4. I have an issue with the old tapatalk and the new arbtalk app, when using the latest topics tab. If I read a thread, then go to load more, it just reloads the same ten. If you refresh the latest threads, then go to load more, it loads the next ten properly.

    Man vs food

Looks like a turd floating in pus. Sure it's very tasty though.
  6. The whole loop should reach from your chin to your toes.
  7. Not your weekend for burning things Dean.
  8. My next door neighbour had a chimney fire and called the fire brigade out, thought there would be water everywhere but they just misted it from the top down until it was out, no flooding or water damage.
  9. Yup, once I get my brush up a chimney it gets a proper rodding and theres always lots of mess to clean up afterwards.
  10. Have you got a 42" ish Sugihara for a 660? Cant quite bring myself to shell out for the Cannon, and not that keen on the Oregon.
  11. That log. Or this one.
  12. You could send it back to Norfolk Island to live with its friends.
  13. Get a small polytunnel and put it up the side of your house.
  14. Looks like a norfolk island pine to me, definitely not hardy in the UK.
  15. Depends where in Cambridge really, my missus works at Addenbrookes, so we started off looking around that side of town and surrounding villages but that is a fairly expensive area. We ended up near Ely, about 10 miles north of Cambridge, but the train into town only takes about 15 minutes, so its not a silly option.
  16. Bacon is cured, ie preserved with salt and other preservatives, including saltpetre to keep it pink. Unprocessed bacon is just pork. Cheap bacon is just injected with lots of brine to bulk the weight up, properly dry or brine cured bacon actually looses weight during the curing process. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

    Auction

    I'm going.
  18. When I first started working down here I would put my waterproofs in the truck every day regardless, the other lads hardly ever bothered in summer unless it was actually raining. They didnt believe me when I said that up north it rained a couple of times a week even in summer, with little or no warning.... I still wont leave the yard without waterproofs though......
  19. The trees are tiny, lots of willows, poplars, and leylandii, and its very flat compared to the north west. Weather is great though, it never rains! (Well, almost never) I moved down here from Manchester 4 years ago, for the same reason as you.
  20. I had targets, I dealt with them by crushing them with 3 tonnes of willow. (Kidding)
  21. There's no way that top was bigger than mine. (22" diameter and 40'ish long)
  22. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJB5dVDjo6k]Crash bang wallop - YouTube[/ame]
  23. Nice one Joe, good luck with it!
  24. Lean seize apparently, but its going for the full works, massage and aromatherapy, seaweed wrap and a detox.
  25. Coming soon to a bench near you. (Spud that is)
