  1. I'd go for a white helmet if it is that hot
  2. Do you have any experience with hat one Swampster? I am trying to avoid buying twice so I don't mind spending a little extra
  3. I am looking for a shoulder mic for my Motorola Xtnid radios. Waterproof is a must. I have hunted Amazon, fleabay etc but to be honest I have no idea what I am looking at, as these are my first radios. Thanks in advance
  4. Nice fell Is that a jack seat cut into the stump?
  5. Someone has to invest in a business to sell these machines - fisrst buy them (and a boat load of spares), import them, advertise, pay a salesman, run a showroom, fund a website, have the expertise to help with any issues etc etc etc & after all that they would like to make a profit. The "middleman" is often more valuable to us than we give them credit for
  6. They made them out of the same stuff that husky made the 540 From I think - only just robust enough for crisp packets! They are underrated work horses - I am looking forward to the updated models
  7. I destroyed air streams in about 9 Months & found them cold. Wellies in the real mud & wet - Pfanner air Tirol for the rest - no boots are waterproof or bombproof & a lot depends on there care
  8. not saying a word......
  9. Yup - dirty & neglected
  10. The dealer not notice these issues? Surely he checked it & ran it before giving it to you
  11. I have run one with a 30" bar, quite sure it will pull a 36" comfortably Depends which is more suitable for your workload
  12. Whatever you use, it will not last long. Maintenance is a constant not an occasional issue. I am often shocked at the state of some of them I see doing inspections on something that is both critical & high usage
  13. The 441 & 461 are fantastic work horses & a nice step up from the 357 when you need it
  14. Not good Jim. Too close for comfort & glad you walked away
  15. How did that happen Jim?
  16. Perhaps this or similar ? Mackenzie Chainsaw Pack
  17. Sensible response. If you doubt that it is serviceable condition, then don't use it!
  18. That sounds worrying Rupert. Have you tested the leg loops manually to make sure that they function correctly?
  19. That's why I ended up ordering something different. Tired of buying crap
  20. Rails could be too wide or is you powemate worn? Are the burrs on both sides?
  21. These are the best I have found - mine look like new after a few years of daily abuse Suspenders, home of Better S-Penders, American made outdoor gear for Loggers, Fire Fighters Turnout Accessories - betterspenders.com
  22. Smash n crash
  23. Nice little vid
  24. Well that's my first lot bought - no doubt I'll be sat near the laptop with a glass of wine in hand & spend more nearer the time
  25. I agree if it's just dulled - I am talking about damaged chain (should have been clearer, sorry ) Even then, half way through the chain I will often grind it to get it perfect. I sharpen as well as anyone else, but I am super intolerant of blunt/poor cutting chains as I cut timber to make a living
