  1. For the GRCS to be anything more than an expensive bollard, you need the experience & knowledge on how to use it & the grounds man with a similar skill set. You need to assess your needs prior to making a choice
  2. So potentially causing the mistrial of a gang of predatory paedos is all good in your books Vespasian? I am not surprised by you sadly
  3. He can’t go to prison- that would be racist ?
  4. My favourite Glastonbury was 1994 - remember some of it ?
  5. Makes good sense Bob. I could charge strong money if I wanted and on some jobs get it. However the number of those jobs are few and far between locally & I probably would end up sitting at home a lot as I would have priced myself out of a lot of the other work. Set your rate on workload & not just the "I want" figure.
  6. It would indeed be impressive if I could take a selfie from there. To be honest there are no pictures of me doing treework I have taken.
  7. With my wine enhanced vision it looked like the real thing ? All good though as it is always a fun to have a competition ?
  8. Me too - never was good at reading the small print
  9. the lack of saw strop, chaps & harness make it look like it is outside the UK.
  10. 2nd that about not being that experienced - however if you loiter around all day taking pics of climbers, then I am sure that most of us could look less than professional from the right angle.
  11. Good job - tree needed killing years ago
  12. Currently no. The battery technology is not advanced enough to produce a commercial saw equivalent to anything over 50cc yet.
  13. Cat's should always be in pairs. That way, when fattened & skinned they make a pair of slippers not just one. They need a purpose in life ?
  14. Really nice machine Josh. Well done!
  15. Her introduction of neoliberal politics has destroyed our country. It has destroyed our primary manufacturing & dismantled and sold off everything else. Her legacy is not a positive one for the UK
  16. Probably still carry more chip than a transit legally
  17. If I got that job all the logs would have to be stacked around the back of the house at the top of the garden. nice work Reg. Do you wear caulk boots on jobs like that to help with the terrain ?
  18. I wonder if he tells good yarns
  19. Nice truck Reg. I am looking for a new truck at the moment & I am a bit jealous
  20. Skinny slices of sourdough, toasted & buttered with some full strength English mustard is awesome with black pudding
  21. If you feel like that then you have probably been voting for the wrong party. Your going to tell me that Tony Blair was a real representation of the party next! And if you mean by IRA apologist (sourced from the Daily Fail no doubt)a dislike for any individual that entered into a dialogue that tried to end a war. Fair enough.
  22. I use ratchet straps in exceptional circumstances and they do help (I have even used chain in some occasions). Usually on defective trees or those that I am going to pull hard and fast I.e. With a big forestry winch. It is not something I do on a run of the mill tree like the one in the original post. The cutting on the first video was a fail - he was not allowed to cut the tree up before it was pulled - they created that split by pre loading.
