  1. The problem might have been that they did not bother!
  2. I think the best way of describing this roundabout of opinions is to say that it's like choosing a favorite colour. No right answer
  3. cannuckle lumbering jack huh? You must be french then lol Why does that tune always remind me of steve:wave:
  4. Since when has commenting on a personal opinion in a constructive way been a crime? I guess my morals are a litle too down to earth (no pun intended) for those of what appears to be a limited perspective
  5. for you to hide your orange trembling saw under? I have seen vid of saws modded by EHP, very special to say the least
  6. Nice Squish, fancy sending it over for me to test drive? Please!!!!
  7. The money is irrelevant. I'm happy that you can treat your family to the best things in life, no doubt you worked hard for it. My point is that driving a chelsea tractor such as you have ordered imho is not the example I would want to set to my friends/piers or children. When is caring about the enviroment around us going to be classed as something other than hippy crap? I make and effort, no claims on perfection or such but the ego bloating and BS around such a machine does make a statement of intent and disregard IMHO.
  8. If the current husky range even came close to there old saws i'd still use them. I still love my 288xp also. Rips cutting firewood with an 18in bar:icon14: Husky saws are/were great for working in the woods, but for climbing, the smooth power delivery and torque from a stihl is what i want
  9. mine too. got 2 in reserve for those days it's needed
  10. And for some a big car compensates:wave:
  11. Yey they can live in a crap world with loads of money nope it does about 50mpg. Better than about 10 I guess. At least your honest about your total disregard for all but those near you and money.
  12. So as a man with a family you choose to enjoy your decadant toys, as opposed to thinking of the future. I guess common sense just aint that common. Or maybe ecomomy and enviromental concerns arnt cool enough for you?
  13. How many of you recieve certificates of comformity when you purchase for example a length of rope?
  14. Welcome Kingswood. Good point well made
  15. Bugger, I hate going shopping:thumbsdown:
  16. An engraving tool for all those metal items without a unique I.D. number. For ropes a simple label with shrinkwrap tubing covering it. IMO the information/ident details you put on don't need to be exhaustive but need to clear so they can be referenced to the relevant documentation
  17. Welcome Sohner. That's a fantastic archive you are sharing with us
  18. Origonal as always lol
  19. I'd rather have a hammock with "born to chill" but i'm liking the idea
  20. Some nice pics Tom. Gotta love those long brash drags !
  21. http://www.ukgamefair.co.uk/comp.html the link on the banner
  22. didn't need to know that:scared:
  23. Canopy access. Covering srt, footlocking etc. Ladders seem to be the be all and end all to most, but imo on larger trees there are easier ways. Would like to see best practive and options employing minimal kit, the shiny gadjet love is not shared by all
  24. I had to ignore that, i guess goats just don't turn me on as much as him:scared:
  25. I'm sure you girly, southern, shandy drinkers can put your heads together and arrange you own get together:thrasher:
