  1. Yey they can live in a crap world with loads of money nope it does about 50mpg. Better than about 10 I guess. At least your honest about your total disregard for all but those near you and money.
  2. So as a man with a family you choose to enjoy your decadant toys, as opposed to thinking of the future. I guess common sense just aint that common. Or maybe ecomomy and enviromental concerns arnt cool enough for you?
  3. How many of you recieve certificates of comformity when you purchase for example a length of rope?
  4. Welcome Kingswood. Good point well made
  5. Bugger, I hate going shopping:thumbsdown:
  6. An engraving tool for all those metal items without a unique I.D. number. For ropes a simple label with shrinkwrap tubing covering it. IMO the information/ident details you put on don't need to be exhaustive but need to clear so they can be referenced to the relevant documentation
  7. Welcome Sohner. That's a fantastic archive you are sharing with us
  8. Origonal as always lol
  9. I'd rather have a hammock with "born to chill" but i'm liking the idea
  10. Some nice pics Tom. Gotta love those long brash drags !
  11. http://www.ukgamefair.co.uk/comp.html the link on the banner
  12. didn't need to know that:scared:
  13. Canopy access. Covering srt, footlocking etc. Ladders seem to be the be all and end all to most, but imo on larger trees there are easier ways. Would like to see best practive and options employing minimal kit, the shiny gadjet love is not shared by all
  14. I had to ignore that, i guess goats just don't turn me on as much as him:scared:
  15. I'm sure you girly, southern, shandy drinkers can put your heads together and arrange you own get together:thrasher:
  16. Thats generous of Alex and timberwolf. Thanks
  17. If I'm climbing I like to charge decent money, and taking into consideration the training, paperwork etc I'd want similar for training. The cost is high at face value, but over a working career it is almost insignificant
  18. Maybe enough slack for the limb to hit the floor!
  19. Bump! Couple of weeks away now!
  20. I know the whitehaven area quite well. Sister lives in cockermouth. The quieter side of the lakes, stunning. Enjoy

  22. The purchase as usual will depend on budget. Minimal- LDV, money to waste- old transit, a bit of cash- cabstar, a decent amount- canter and money to throw away- a new transit. IMHO you buy the best you can, and save for what you want.
  23. Nice to see. Thanks for making the time to share with us. More please
  24. Horlicks
