  1. Each has i's merrits. I dislike wirecore flip lines, so I only use them on dismantles. My rope lanyard is long enough to be used as a 2nd short rope, invaluable imho
  2. I find your arguments thin and feeble. Because a test is longer etc that makes an individual a better driver? Tax deduction for the training yes, but what about the wages and lost productivity and therefore profit etc whilst the course is running. A company pays 3 times for training
  3. young hawthorne leaves make the nicest salads, especially mixed with rocket. They seem to be complimented by the peppery taste
  4. Ed is the person to ask, he knows someone
  5. I'm not even sure if the games are available on Sky sport pay TV. I'd love to see it. There is rumurs of the 20/20 game here getting similar treatment on a smaller scale
  6. Was anyone taught to inspect and maintain there basic kit whilst doing there training towards there NPTC tickets? What suprised you 3Dogs?
  7. I noticed the rig worker have been omitted (?) from the list. I spoke to a friend who works for a large insurance company. Post the Piper alpha disaster they are no. 1 on his list.
  8. lol when i used to work with 3 dogs our boss used to call it the friday club. Gotta look your best for the weekend
  9. Good for you, i'm too lazy I noticed that carl (highscale) wins the shane mcgowan lookalike contest

  14. enough said
  15. To inspect kit, i have, as required taken out additional insurance.
  16. Depends on the chemical, there is a list I have seen that is approved by the EA and MAFF, but along time since and no memory of it. Rock salt? ok for medium/large stumps, and not spraying PA6 is knapsack application as you deducted. If non strayed application I presume just PA1 would be sufficient?
  17. I agree with you up to this point. Why use a fundamentally flawed system system to inaccuratley put an arbitary figure on something that requires the application of common sense and a structured assesment?
  18. I fecking hate to read things such as this. Sorry to hear Nod, will keep an eye out
  19. Welcome Nick, post away, the more the merrier
  20. I have owned a few harneses, all different and had there own merits. What have you climbed on previously Giles?
  21. AA, OCA,ISA the list is endless, the consultants perpetuate the problem, it is the precidents set in the past. The money involved in subsidance claims, the consultation and subsiquent tree work must bankroll massive sectors of our industry
  22. Such a relevant point to felling the tree?
  23. H&S aside, I think it poses a larger question, or am I being too insightful?
