Last minute request from the boss for a necklace and bracelet stand. I thought I had a good eye but it proved impossible for me to freehand drill a 28mm hole perfectly true, or even close. These will have to do

Actually I saw this discussion somewhere a few weeks back where some people were saying they prefer it the other way about. im on the clock and have precious little time, must confess I just banged em in without a thought. I agree it would look better with the grain though.

If you take them screws out and redo you will probably close them gaps Your advice is unfortunately a few hours late on this occasion

Just got my first silky cut too!

That saved me probably 2 days. Simona’s having a stand for her baby stuff at a show on the weekend. Making some display stands for her. Joinery is a bit rough round the edges to put it mildly but it will do the job and should look nice once waxed
