  1. Well I put 2 bets on in the end. 2-2 and also a 4-0 to Italy. Had a free bet worth £10, so at 80/1 what the heck 😀

  3. How big are the roots you are wanting to cut? In general, cutting a few roots isn't likely to directly kill a tree, but you do run the risk of destabilising the tree leaving it open to wind throw.
  4. No one else has one. Some dude in Coventry bought them all.
  5. You can’t be saying stuff like that these days mick. as a lesbian myself, I find it highly offensive
  6. No one knows, that’s why it’s called gambling. i was doing something with the girls at break time that’s for sure, and it was more fun than playing football with the ‘hard boys’
  7. I’ll have a couple. Might have a small patriotic bet just to make myself feel a little better, but I’m looking at Italy 3-1 at 33/1
  8. Won’t be necessary. Truth is I can’t stand football and don’t really care much who wins, just enjoy winding up you over sensitive football fan types 😂
  9. Exclusively running GreenMech woodchippers for more than 20 years, Powerline Services (MLJ) Ltd have recently added their latest machine into the fleet – the first from the revolutionary EVO series. Their new EVO 165DT 45LE model is already delivering powerful performance for Director Ben Jones and his team since its delivery in May, offering bigger, faster throughput for the effective removal of vegetation from the utility networks in and around Herefordshire. For Ben and his cutting teams “efficiency is key”, and it was the desire for a bigger output chipper that saw him turn to GreenMech for his latest solution. “I wanted something capable of processing brash a bit quicker, as well as larger timber without necessarily going up to an 8” machine” he explains. “GreenMech showed us the EVO 165 with a 25hp engine, which was a seriously impressive piece of kit, but the limited-edition model featuring a 45hp Kubota diesel engine was a real added bonus.” “I like the fact the EVO runs on horizontal rollers, and the feed rollers being ‘variable speed’ is a great feature to have for dealing with different types of material. It also has a variable track for optimum stability on uneven ground. The guys have also commented on how the wider infeed chute has made a noticeable difference to our productivity – we have saved a whole day’s work on some jobs by not having to spend time snedding brash down prior to processing.” The new EVO 165DT 45LE sits proudly on the fleet, alongside a GreenMech ArbTrak 150 which has been delivering reliable performance on a number of large power network contracts since 2018. “The ArbTrak is still out with one of our cutting teams on a daily basis – its size and 150mm chipping capacity remain fit for purpose to handle the brashy material that make up a large percentage of our projects.” “We’ve had tracked units since GreenMech launched their first model in 2003 as, for us, it’s the most efficient way to get the chipper exactly where it needs to be.” Ben concludes, “As well as coming up with great products, GreenMech are just a very good company to deal with – first class service and excellent back-up support from their dealer network. We would never use anything else.”
  10. Pretty sure this journalist is some sort of rocket scientist https://apple.news/ATlISHHmpQqqt2TmjtDkd5Q
  11. Out of interest, what exactly is your definition of ‘toxic’ masculinity?
  12. You make some good points. My partners from Italy and just the other day commented that she’d never heard of so many ‘syndromes’ than she has since living in the uk. From ADHD to anxiety, companion dogs etc etc etc
  13. No they shouldn’t, Ian’s doing it because he’s a stand up boss obviously and cares and wants to go one step further for his employees, commendable I’d say.
  14. Good thread. I think lots of people think as above, and I also think it’s easy to blur the lines between stress and mental illness. I used to stress over everything when I was younger to the point that it made me feel depressed at times, the reality of it was that I was just too highly strung. That’s completely changed now to the point I don’t stress enough! good thread Ian. I did just take the liberty of running your post through my knobometer and I’m pleased to say you scored a low 7 out of 10 which is a huge improvement for you, keep up the yoga I say!
  15. Nice! Used a telegraph pole in the past
  16. You can put in the description that you won’t accept ash and discuss contents if anyone contacts you. That part of the transaction is entirely between you and them. Not sure about regulations regarding the movement of ash chips specifically though sorry
  17. It is for people who want to specify any species they can’t accept, such as potentially poisonous species like yew. This is mainly for people keeping livestock etc. In your case clean wood chips should be the correct category
  18. Hahaha, funnily enough I said the same thing to Simona
  19. You can post pics from the web version just as easily
