  1. Don’t worry @eggsarascal nothing that will affect you 😂
  2. Nothing like that. Few minor changes to visuals and functionality so you don’t need to worry about that side of things. re Vespasian, he’s already here, just haven’t worked out who he is yet
  3. Some big changes next week are going to upset a few people too 🙄
  4. People dont like change
  5. Just gave the thread it’s first like, I guess we didn’t have likes back then. Seems an age ago 😀
  6. STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® will host its first ever British Women’s Championship in June, where the best female lumberjill athletes in Great Britain will put their axe, saw and chainsaw skills to the ultimate test to become the inaugural female STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® British champion. The landmark event will take place at Royal Three Counties Show in Malvern on Friday 17 June and will see the top eight female logger sports athletes battle against each other in three challenging disciplines; Stock Saw, Single Buck and Underhand Chop. Each discipline will see the athletes slice and chop their way through large logs in seconds using a combination of axes, two-metre crosscut saws and high-powered chainsaws, all requiring high levels of power, precision and endurance to succeed. Competitors are awarded maximum points for the fastest time, with the athlete accumulating the most points crowned the best female TIMBERSPORTS® athlete in Great Britain. Competing in this ground-breaking event will be Beth Parker from Southport, Catherine Eccles from Scotland, Dee Hardwick from Redditch, with the remaining five athletes in Justine Narusa, Kristy Bray, Martine Arrowsmith, Sarah Cox and Zoe Penlington all hailing from Wales. The athletes have been sharpening their logger skills at STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® training camps throughout the year and are ready to put on a high octane performance in front of a live audience. The 2022 STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® British Championship and British Rookie Championship crown will also be fought for at the Royal Three Counties Show on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 June respectively. In the British Championship, the top male athletes from around the country will compete against each other across six TIMBERSPORTS® disciplines. The rookies, who are under 25, will take part in four events, accumulating points in each round based on their placing in each discipline. The overall winner in each competition is the athlete with the most points once all rounds have taken place. Simon Hewitt, Head of Marketing at STIHL GB, said: “After several behind closed door events, not only are we thrilled to be bringing TIMBERSPORTS® back to a live audience, but we are also very excited to introduce the first British Women’s Championship. “All of the competitors want the chance to be the champion in the first Women's Championship, so all eight athletes have been working hard, but even the smallest slip-up on the day can have a huge effect, so anyone can win it! We can’t wait to see the best-of-the-best female athletes compete for the ultimate logger prize.” Jane Edwards, Shows Manager at Three Counties, said: “We are incredibly excited to welcome STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® to Royal Three Counties Show and wish all the athletes luck in their Championships. The STIHL Arena is a fantastic, high octane, entertainment area and a great addition to the Show. We’re especially pleased to be hosting the first STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® British Women’s Championship on the Friday and love the fact one of the athletes hails from Worcestershire!” The Royal Three Counties Show (17 – 19 June) is the Heart of England’s premier celebration of the countryside and rural life. The cookie must be complete and within a defined thickness Standing Block Chop – simulating the felling of a tree, athletes race to chop through a 30cm wood block as quickly as possible from the side Single Buck – athletes race to cut through a 46cm diameter log using a two-metre long single man crosscut saw Underhand Chop – athletes stand on a horizontal log and cleave it in two with an axe, chopping from both sides Hot Saw – athletes race to cut three cookies of a specified thickness from a horizontal trunk using an extremely powerful chainsaw weighing nearly 30kg and with a chain speed of around 250 km/h
  7. Not 100% sure the details as squaredy mentioned above, but these are the first people who spring to mind Material Change – Anaerobic Digestion & Composting WWW.MATERIAL-CHANGE.COM Recycling Solutions. Material Change offer a diverse range of solutions to meet all your recycling...
  8. We are now ranking number 1 on google for multiple keywords relating to sawmills. Have you added your business yet? It costs just £36 per year to put yourself in front of more customers. https://sawmillers.co.uk
  9. you need to add a site here https://arbtalk.co.uk/recycling
  10. How do you mean spam?
  11. Looks like one of those old lead chainsaw gauntlets the old timers used to wear
  12. Good choice
  13. Mike Hill has a nice one. He posted it.a while ago in this thread
  14. Some of my favourites were smoked mackerel horseradish and rocket, cheese beetroot and salad cream, pilchards and vinegar. All with door slab granary bread
  15. What’s your budget? There’s everything you need in that kit to get you started but equally there are better harnesses etc out there. I personally wouldn’t be without an art rope guide over the standard cambium saver included in that kit.
  16. That’s pushing it a bit mate
  17. I think a client generally has at least an idea of how many different services they offer. Whilst some can be linked together in a single page, it doesn’t make sense for different types of services, as you have pointed out
  18. Senseless analogy. it’s more like a tree surgeon quoting to remove 5 trees then on the day the client adding an extra 5 on and expecting the same price. Perhaps this is how you used to run your tree surgery business though?
  19. Course it’s more work mick. Some developers would try and charge stupid prices like £200 per page, which yes is a rip off. Generally a page that is copy and paste will be done in 30-60 minutes depending on how much work. If the content has to be written from scratch then of course it will take longer. then of course if the client wants to make edits at the final stage then you’re looking at potentially more pages to go through a second time. not rocket science
  20. A 5 year old could understand that a 20 page website is more work than a 5 page website. Anyway I don’t have time to try and explain it to you at the moment, currently in the middle of a 30 page build. It’s taken me much longer than the 8 page site I recently completely….can’t understand it!? All I have to do is copy the template over, not like I have to design every single page over and over! Oh, I suppose I do have to add fresh content to every page..copy and paste in this instance but I still have to proof read it, source images, resize and optimise them, carry out on page seo, internal linking, oh and of course slightly more thought into the menu set up as theres so many pages. if only I’d have done my homework on the amount of pages required before starting it!
  21. Are you actually serious?
  22. The amount of pages being irrelevant
  23. Absolute nonsense
  24. Its your tip site listing you need to change John, no one is going to notice this here.
  25. Hi Luke, he's referring to me....possibly 😁 Feel free to drop me a message here.
