  3. Haha ribs. Got insurance so should get the medical fees back minus £150 excess
  4. Our plane home is absolutely going to crash 😂
  5. On the holiday from hell that just keeps on giving! only came over here for a week for one of simonas best friends wedding. Tested positive for covid 2 nights before, then simona the day before…she was vomiting and sweating for hours(36 degrees with no air con didn’t help) and as a result ended up on an iv. Problem with that is she ended up in the system and couldn’t leave isolation without a negative test at a registered station. flights changed and car parking extended costing an extra £300. Then BA cancelled the flight shortly after, managed to get one the same day though. finally simona tests negative so we have a nice day out at the beach with further plans to enjoy our last 3 days here. all going well and maddy was loving it, until a woman decided to pull out of a junction without looking. X marks the spot of the initial collision, she hit us more or less head on. Maddy escaped without a scratch on her miraculously…pretty sure it was the red bag beside her seat that saved her. Simona has a few cuts and scrapes and a sore back but otherwise fine. think I took the brunt of things with sink a possible landing on my rib cage(all a bit of a blur), but had x rays and no broken bones luckily. Hospital kindly relieved me of 700 euros though!
  6. The charge is for treensurgeons to use the directory. It is free to add a listing still
  7. 30 + vat. I have set it at a rate that I think is fair. Basically if you use it once and it saves you an hours round trip to the yard its paid for itself. Also going to be pushing the formation of tip sites that pay so there will be more incentive from the sites over time.
  8. Good spot! It was one of those clever spammers who waits for their post to be approved then edits it to add the spammy link
  9. Sorry to hear that John, i hope your average post rate of approx 1 post per week doesn't diminish totally.
  10. Actually the default is what you switched it back to, you just have changed that yourself somewhere along the way 😀
  11. Not for a couple years I reckon
  12. Amazing skill….yet you can’t work out how to navigate a website 😂
  13. It would take a whole lot of £1’s to cover an app unfortunately. I really don’t see how the app makes it any easier to post photos. All I have to do is click on the add image button and it opens up my phone gallery
  14. Not sure how it can be more useful, it totally blocks a lot of the forum features! tapatalk(the app the forum was using) definitely won’t be back. It’s too unstable and I’ve been wanting rid for a long time. There is a native app that might be available, but I haven’t tried it yet
  15. 50-year mortgages are latest idea to fix housing crisis APPLE.NEWS Ultra-long mortgages that could be handed down to children are being considered by Boris Johnson as a way to get young... good idea in theory. In reality implementing this in a country as greedy as hours will probably only result in house prices going up as mortgages become more affordable
  16. Its dead Mike
  17. I agree the site is better than the app. I stopped using the app years ago. People just need to give it a chance
  18. The tapatalk version yes. Might be something else on the horizon though
  19. Just saw this meme online and wanted to share it, this thread seemed as good a place as any 😀
  20. You basically won the internet today stubby
  21. I’m not sure
  22. Badges etc are in th process of rebuilding in the background. Should get quite a few of those filter through over the course of the day.
  23. Good call ditching the tibloc. It used to be classed as a rescue ascender for the very reason it shreds ropes
  24. In our recent upgrade the single biggest change to be made to the site has been to the tip site directory. The key changes made include a improved user interface, a map key with custom markers which tell you at a glance what category the tip site falls under....and probably the biggest change is the introduction of a yearly fee for its use. The fee serves multiple purposes. Firstly, the directory has far outgrown my ability to finance it. The new fee will help cover the time taken to run the 3 websites that work together to form this one important feature. It will also help ensure only the right type of people are using the directory and therefore cut down further on admin time. As always, feedback on the changes are more than welcome. Loyalty Reward The good news is, if you are a member with a post count of 1000 or higher your loyalty has been rewarded with a free upgrade to incorporate free use of the directory into your account privileges.
  25. Look forward to seeing that
