  1. Absolutely, just a question of what to buy!
  2. Think you’re getting your wires crossed between this thread and the cod wood thread. You’ll only con fuse matters
  3. Any of the Yale 11.7mm ropes work well
  4. I'm going to switch off comments if this current trend continues
  5. Def 8mm. No recommendations on cord though as I’m not familiar with the rope. General rule of thumb though is to combine a soft cord with a hard rope and vice versa. was never a fan of beeline, found it over rated. Same as with a lot of the other heat resistant cords.
  6. @Mark Bolam bit weird that both your personas reacted to this….maybe just a glitch, but ironic maybe? You on Twitter by any chance?
  7. So you’re basically saying it’s mostly populated by 2 different types of people?
  8. Unfortunately we dont have a fireplace in our new house. Heating still hasn't been turned on though. But of a double whammy of savings actually, because at this rate the house is getting so cold we can probably turn the fridge off too.
  9. Well done, and with that jump up in positions by my reckoning you should be in first place next time
  10. I can think of plenty of large lime avenue pollards they’d have come in very handy for in the past
  11. I think Paul would have been scared off long before now if he was going to be 😀
  12. Yep your analysis is spot on…and of Paul, who has done more for the AA here on arbtalk than anyone. I removed the post by the way.
  13. This has never been more important for me, as my saws get precious little use these days. When I do fire them up though they are right on the money. I don't think I ever had any engine issues with any of my saws in the whole time I ran Aspen.
  14. 20% off all 12 month listings at Sawmillers throughout November using code 'NOV20'. Want to get ahead of your competitors in Google? Sawmillers directory outranks most other sawmills, so the chances are that anyone searching for a sawmill service is going to land on the Sawmillers site first. For the cost of just £26 for a full year your company can be listed. and found by prospective clients.
  15. Sounds like its a good job you retired!
  16. Not sure how entertaining that’s going to be. Certainly not going to be a myleene klass on the shower rival
  17. Don’t see what the problem is….not like they used copper screws
  18. This seems to have become a meme thread rather than a joke thread. nevertheless…….
