  1. Just approved your listing, running a bit behind sorry. Regarding time scales, i've known people to be contacted the same day as adding their site, whilst others are still waiting 6 months later. Pretty random i'm afraid.
  2. Welcome!
  3. Had a couple of threads scattered around the past few months for some projects i was working on. We opened up a baby shop in Suffolk for the missus's little business back in April where i initially built a shop counter. We quickly outgrew the small space we were in so moved to a larger premises and massively expanded our range of products. Had to make a few additional things, the cable reel stands, and the yew shelves with hazel hanging rails that I am pretty pleased with. Slightly dodgy splicing but no ones going to be trusting their life to it! Can't take credit for the well constructed pine bag stand unfortunately..I only do rustic cobbled together stuff (with tonnes of screws). Most of the shop was already cladded with reclaimed scaffolding boards which go perfect with our style.

  6. STIHL has launched its first portable 230V power supply, providing professional users with a quiet, low maintenance and emission-free alternative to petrol-powered generators. Weighing only 19.8kg and boasting a 3.6kW power output, the new PS 3000 offers a high power-to-weight ratio and is one of the most powerful portable power supply units in its weight class. The PS 3000 can be used in a wide variety of applications from corded drills, site lighting, STIHL tools such as power washers and vacuums, as well as recharging STIHL batteries while out in the field. The high 2.1kWh energy content also ensures long working times for minimal disruption. The new portable power supply produces a pure sine wave, meaning it generates the same electrical current produced by the grid, ensuring no difference in performance and that no electrical noise is generated. In addition, a boost mode function temporarily increases the power output by up to 250% for tools with high initial starting currents. Designed to operate in the toughest conditions, the PS 3000 features a sturdy frame for high protection levels, multiple handles for carrying comfort, is protected from dust and can even be used in wet weather conditions. 12. Is that its typical growth pattern? Starts off with alternate leaves then becomes very much one sided.
  13. Fig 8 as a termination knot you mean, yes to that and a Blake’s, and strop as second anchor fine. Only thing that’s changed is your are supposed to now have 3 points of attachment, ie 2 main lines. In reality few bother.
  14. ‘Were’

  24. Finish doesn't have to be amazing and i'm pretty much working with the tools I have. Belt sander is about as pro as I get, although im getting through the belts fairly due to the staples. Knocked them in as far as I can. Probably just going to pull out the worst of the splinters with pliers to be honest 😳
