  1. Unnecessarily oversized piece. Only purpose I can see is to get an impressive video. Backfired at the groundies expense. Climbers fault all day.
  2. You dont need many videos to go viral before you're talking some pretty good toot
  3. That video along has had 46k views in just 4 days which is around $25 i guess. This one alones made them around £1500
  4. Its the individual video views thats the important metric. I believe its somewhere in the region of $1000 per million views. If they have 159k subscribers I can only imagine how many views they get on top of that from visitors.
  5. I’ll help you! their channel has 159k subscribers. They are making a tidy living from making those videos. That IS their job
  6. I’d imagine it’s over engineered enough to stop it snapping whist you’re being towed in a dual carriageway

  8. Just watched it. They definitely didn't make use of the buttress roots 😁
  9. Lots to go wrong with felling Lombardy, specially if theres any decay. good point about using the buttress roots, but you know as well as I do 90% of tree surgeons don’t know how to fell properly
  10. Oh dear. Did you see the one done yesterday where the guy threw his helmet down? Think it was Ireland
  11. Think i saw you guys going through Debenham this morning
  12. Watch till the end 😂 IMG_2162.MOV
  13. What exactly makes you think it’s dying?
  14. There can only be one reason 😁 Good point though, rarely see anyone asking about work positions in Finland
  15. Never ever had a crotch go on a pair of chainsaw trousers. Also never had much luck with the ladies, not sure if theres any connection there. in all seriousness, stretch air are the best I’ve found, but theres also a big difference in the difference cuts which will have an impact depending on your body shape. For example o wear a small in stretch airs which are perfect, whereas a medium in arbortecs I don’t a bit restrictive round the hips
  16. Whats wrong is that people are on their arses and desperate due to the rising cost of living
  17. I spent most of last week in hospital with Maddy and came away slightly perplexed. She went in Monday morning with a fever of 40.7. Have to say a&e was great..we were in to see a doctor within 5 minutes and moved on to the ward within 30. Staff were great with Maddy. It was her birthday and they raided the cupboards and bought her loads of gifts (They have a cupboard full of stuff donated by local businesses). Anyway she had a UTI. I stayed in overnight with her and they let us out the following day with a canular attached and told us to go back everyday at 12 noon for the next 3 days so they could administor antiobitics by IV. Now this was a pretty straight forward 15 minute procedure, but on all 3 days I ended up in the hospital for 4-5 hours. Hard to really understand what was going on, as everytime I looked at the main desk there were always at least 4-5 people there seemingly not doing much. The ward wasn't brimming with patients either. There was never more than 3-4 kids in the waiting room whilst we were there. I tried not to read too much into things as I basically have no idea whats going on behind the scenes, but something just doesnt run smoothly there thats for sure. Perhaps they are tied up with too much paperwork, who knows. We had to have fresh bloods taken on the thursday and waited 3 hours for this. When they called us through we went into a sideroom, where there were 6 members of staff there. 2 were doctors, might have been one student, and then an extra body who serves as a distraction for the kids. Keeping in mind I was there and perfectly capable of distracting my child, it seemed a massive waste of resources having 6 staff in there for what surely could have been done by one nurse, maybe 2 at a push. Sometimes its hard to understand where all the money goes, other times it really isnt
  18. There’s a lot of money being spunked on Facebook ads by tree companies. Most likely boosting their own posts with no real idea what they are doing and subsequently targeting the entire uk for leylandii hedge cutting. that being said it is quite hard. I’ve had some very specific targeting set on some of my adverts before and still get some incredibly random activity.
  19. Any of those saws will be perfectly adequate for scavenging fallen deadwood etc. Obviously you're asking on a pro forum though so the standard answer is going to be buy the best you can afford. If you are after wood and have room to accept a truck load at a time you can also chance your arm by adding your property as a tip site for tree surgeons to use. https://arbtalk.co.uk/recycling/
  20. Begs the question why are you still advertising with them?
