  1. They will find you using the proximity search feature and then contact you. All that remains for you to do is wait
  2. Gotta love a bit of Chuck Norris
  3. Hot sun and dry weather welcomed a record 23000 visitors and 300 exhibitors to APF 2022 which took place on the 22-24th September at Ragley Estate, Alcester, Warks. Visitors flocked through the gates full of excitement and anticipation after the four year wait since APF 2018 caused by the pandemic. Exhibitors were delighted with the attendance and reported excellent sales with one saying they took over £3 million of orders over the three days. The new traffic management system worked perfectly and visitors commented on the ease of getting both in and out of the show, despite the record numbers. Over £80 million of machinery was on show during the event and much of it had ‘Sold’ stickers on it when it left. 850 local school children and their teachers, as well as groups of university students, were given guided tours to learn all about a modern working woodlands and forests and the possible exciting career opportunities that exist. Exhibition Secretary Ian Millward commented “We are absolutely delighted at how successful the show was. We have been deluged with emails and comments on social media from both visitors and exhibitors about how good the show was and how much people enjoyed it. It makes it all worthwhile. It is a huge credit to our team of staff and contractors, many of whom were new to the show, that they come together for the first time in 4 years and put on a show of this scale, complexity and quality. People cannot believe that the APF show has no full time employees, just a team passionate about the forest and arb industries. I would like to offer our thanks to all our sponsors who enabled to stage so many events and competitions” New features such as the UK open tree climbing and British Open fencing Championships attracted big crowds. The World Poleclimbing and European Chainsaw Carving Championships continued to be big crowd pleasers with one carving attracting a show record of £5500 at auction. Full competition results can be found in the Competition and Events page of the website Dates and location for APF 2024 are to be announced shortly For more information contact APF Exhibition Email: [email protected]. 5. Whatever the reason, it’s set a pretty bad precedent so early in truss’s leadership
  6. Keep in mind this is the guy who could very well decide the fate of the world with any decisions he makes on Russia
  7. This guy is just mint…remind me how he got elected again? Not sure what’s funnier, his gaff or the press secretary trying to cover it up 😂
  8. The wall? It wasn’t always leaning obviously. Steadily got worse though
  9. There’s bits and pieces we aren’t happy with. The general quality of everything is poor. If you look at the skirting board funny then lumps fall off. Kitchen might have another 3 years in it before it starts looking pretty tatty. Our outside wall round the garden is falling over. Building company have been aware of it for nearly 2 years ago and it’s apparently ‘in hand’…will get a pic later. House itself is rendered which makes me wonder what the brickwork beneath is like. overall it’s just the unknown
  10. Help to buy has to be a massive money earner for the government. New house prices are at a premium anyway, and they know full well that most people won’t pay off the help to buy within the lifetime of the mortgage. They’ve seen to that by stipulating it can only be repaid in either 1 or 2 lump payments. So most people are going to end up paying the government £100 a month interest for a number of years, then when they eventually sell the government make a nice bit of profit from their percentage stake in the house
  11. We plan on moving about a year before our 10 year nhbc warranty expires
  12. There will undoubtedly be those who do that. As I understand it though the tax breaks for the rich are also to encourage people companies to bring their business to the uk. I can sort of see it from both sides. It was obviously never going to be a popular decision with the poor though

  16. Yep. Just make sure to set the locations slightly different so the markers don’t overlap
  17. Well it’s free so you don’t have much to lose
  18. You’ll have more luck on a local Facebook selling site or something.
