  1. Incidentally, if you look on the new map of freelancers theres plenty of climbers who haven’t shy’d away from putting their rates out there https://arbtalk.co.uk/find-a-freelancer/
  2. Typical conversation between me and a new client (when climbing) client: how much? That’s too expensive! me: have me in for the day, if you’re not happy with my rate at the end of the day then pay me what you think I’m worth, we’ll shake hands and I’ll go on my way with no hard feelings.
  3. Well my point was that as a self employed worker you need to set yourself on the position you want to be in. As for the people telling you you’re too steep, they are either not charging enough themselves to be able to afford you, or they are just chancers. More often than not the latter
  4. Also……no one put me in that position
  5. Well I’m offering somewhat different services these days, but yes I charge what I need to do a job. Certain things have a set price of course. As a climber I also set my own rate and whittled down my client base to the few that were happy to pay it
  6. Personally the only person who needs to know what I’m charging is the person I’m doing business with. What anyone else’s day rate is is entirely irrelevant really. Everyone brings something different to the table and has their own set of circumstances and overheads and need to set their rates accordingly
  7. Porn shortage incoming. bloody brexit UK porn stars halt work amid European syphilis outbreak APPLE.NEWS Exclusive: ‘Professional performers with big profiles are terrified,’ says campaigner
  8. Nice to meet you at the show. Hope it was a good event for you.
  9. Unfortunately not. You’ll also need to adjust the location slightly on one of the markers so it doesn’t completely overlap the other
  10. Thank you. might be a good idea to edit one of your markers and change the location slightly so the pins don’t overlap
  11. Are you in here yet? https://arbtalk.co.uk/find-a-freelancer/
  12. I have just added a category for loler inspectors in the freelancers directory. Free to list yourself https://arbtalk.co.uk/find-a-freelancer/
  13. I guess as someone who doesn’t live abroad or has any intention of doing so I don’t feel any loss of freedom whatsoever, I can imagine that’s maybe different for you though. as for anything else, theres too much going on in the world at the moment to start blaming things squarely on brexit
  14. Question, were you expecting immediate benefits, or benefits for the country maybe 20 years down the line?
  15. I can’t pretend to understand what’s going on, but does seem a bit odd to me. I stocked up on a few more xrp just in case. It’s actually done pretty well the last few days
  16. Anyone else been following the ripple/sec case?
  17. Pretty tall….and Irish If that helps further
  18. No need for all the unhelpful comments. here you go Stihl Swiss switch bush hook – F.R. Jones & Son WWW.FRJONESANDSON.CO.UK
  19. I know you said you don't want a rope operated one, but have you tried a wolf bypass pruner with the option cord tidy? Turns it into a very efficient piece of equipment and I reckon capable of cutting much bigger stuff than any of the types you are looking for. Wolf-Garten Multi-Change Cord Tidy - Garden Machinery Direct.co.uk WWW.GARDENMACHINERYDIRECT.CO.UK Allowing you to focus on the job at hand when working with telescopic handles and tree-care equipment, this tool helps in particularly make pruning trees more comfortable.
