  1. I'll be there the Friday and Saturday, will be sure to pop over and say hi
  2. I was thinking the same thing….although possible looks more like ailanthus to me
  3. Is that little scrote sticking his finger up? not what what availability is like on chillers at the moment? Possible could be a deciding factor if you’re after something in a hurry
  4. Pragmasis will be exhibiting their range of security products at the APF & Arb Show at Ragley Estate, 22nd-24th September 2022. Stephen Briggs, MD, said “We are pleased to be exhibiting our products again and this will be our first time to exhibit at the APF professional forestry and Arboriculture Show,” to be held at Ragley Estate 22nd-24th September. “We will be on Stand D7b in the Static display area.” “We have frequently sold our security products to professional tree surgeons and we feel a strong connection with the forestry and Arb industry. We have visited this show many times over the years as a customer due to our longstanding involvement with our award-winning Alvecote Wood project. This will be new, to be one of the exhibitors”, he said. Alvecote Wood, winner of the RFS Excellence in Forestry (Small Woodlands) Best-of-England competition (2014), is operated and sponsored by Pragmasis and this means they have had to secure many of the same things that Arb professionals also need. Steve said: “We are perhaps the only security product manufacturer that has such a strong connection and respect for people in Arb and forestry. Our products are not infallible, sadly, but chosen and used correctly they can make a huge difference to how likely you are to keep your property. We are happy to give advice gleaned from our own experience, after suffering multiple attempted thefts with very few losses over some 15 years so far.” Don’t let the thieves have it easy! They will surely be back if they get lucky, so stopping them with appropriate security deterrents, ideally before problems start, can save much bigger headaches later. Pragmasis are happy to offer an APF Show Discount of 10% on product prices (before shipping) on their website through to the end of October 2022. https://SecurityForBikes.com Please enter the following code during checkout: APF22 “Come and say Hi. We look forward to talking to many customers, new and existing. “ More information: https://securityforbikes.com/news.php#APF2022
  5. This is a brand new feature just getting off the ground, but theres already a few freelancers listed https://arbtalk.co.uk/find-a-freelancer/
  6. It won’t. I’ll be removing anyone from the discussion from here on who wants to use it for their usual pathetic squabbles
  7. Not sure if you’ve seen this new feature yet Matt https://arbtalk.co.uk/find-a-freelancer/
  8. If my back doesn't ease off before the show i'll be the one in a mobility scooter
  9. You seem a bit detached from reality on this one. There will he plenty of people who will he in energy poverty as you put it. You can be as careful as you like with how much energy you use, that doesn’t change the fact that the standard charges have also gone up…those you can do nothing about
  10. I’d like to move from by to Vodafone, but everything works well at the moment. Have great speed and have good speed in the outside office thanks to a chain of extenders: Vodafone would be a lot cheaper but don’t want to risk ending up with a poorer service
  11. Windows we’re all wooden back then also. The condensation must have been a killer for rot
  12. I’d totally forgotten till my parents mentioned it the other day but now remember it crystal clear. Who else had poor man’s double glazing? By that I mean plastic sheets gagged taped to the inside of the window frame 😂
  13. Please list what you will accept
  14. Has to be blanket, how else do you decide who gets it without an indepth investigation into each case? an example is the £400 credit to the council tax bill that our neighbours in a 3 bedroom house got but we missed out on in our 4 bedroom house. Pretty confident their income is significantly higher than mine
  15. British gas set up a direct debit without our approval and started deducting £200 a month for our electricity! We were one of the ones that were automatically moved to them after our previous supplier went bankrupt. We are in a good position with our gas at the moment as our whole estate is on Calor gas. This is typically more expensive than main gas, but there is some sort of contract running for the estate currently that caps the price. Im not sure how much longer thats going to last though.
  16. Cooking my own breakfast is a thing of the past now I’ve discovered this bad boy….only £4.50!
  17. Beings as they have a camping area (albeit fully booked) I’d imagine you’d get turfed out of the car park by the security guards. Don’t really know though
  18. It’s the queue getting into the show itself that’s normally a nightmare
  19. Nothing wrong with Thursdays. People pay a lot of money for their stands so I wouldn't expect anyone to start off the first the day with an incomplete display.
  20. Well she has to do that at a minimum. Should also reverse them a little. People cant afford them as it is.
