  1. I always used to wear disposable ear plugs rather than ear muffs. 35-37 snr, which I believe is probably higher rated than any ear defenders on the market that i'm aware of. Switching to plugs was one of the best things I ever did, specially in the summer. Ear defenders would make me sweat bucket loads and i'd end up with a sweat rash on my neck. Buy in bulk on Amazon 503 - Service Unavailable Error WWW.AMAZON.CO.UK
  2. Stumped on this one. Trunk was more like a Lombardy that anything. Not great pics unfortunately, but maybe someone wants to have a punt?
  3. Lots of people panicking and selling their cro at a loss. Mines all staked earning 12% so can’t sell even if i wanted to
  4. I bought a few more cro, I think it’s still worth a gamble. Might well be proved wrong
  5. Odd things going on here. We were moved to British gas for our electricity when our previous supplier went bust. Carried on paying our usual £94 DD a month for electricity only. They then decided to put our DD up to £200, so I cancelled it and just paid the bill instead. 2 months ago they texted to let us know they were coming round to read the meter. The following bill came in at a whopping £27. Then this past months bill just came through the door for £68. These are apparently taken from the smart meter.
  6. Hang on to your vvs though, we are going to be rich off of that one day 😂
  7. I remember reading something a while back about putting in relief cuts on carvings. Anyone know anything about that?
  8. Absolutely, just a question of what to buy!
  9. Think you’re getting your wires crossed between this thread and the cod wood thread. You’ll only con fuse matters
  10. Any of the Yale 11.7mm ropes work well
  11. I'm going to switch off comments if this current trend continues
  12. Def 8mm. No recommendations on cord though as I’m not familiar with the rope. General rule of thumb though is to combine a soft cord with a hard rope and vice versa. was never a fan of beeline, found it over rated. Same as with a lot of the other heat resistant cords.
  13. @Mark Bolam bit weird that both your personas reacted to this….maybe just a glitch, but ironic maybe? You on Twitter by any chance?
  14. So you’re basically saying it’s mostly populated by 2 different types of people?
  15. Unfortunately we dont have a fireplace in our new house. Heating still hasn't been turned on though. But of a double whammy of savings actually, because at this rate the house is getting so cold we can probably turn the fridge off too.
  16. Well done, and with that jump up in positions by my reckoning you should be in first place next time
