  1. i did the same, bought a tom tom from walmart. When you talk in a hick bar you better be self confidant because everyone within ear shot is going to suddenly stop talking to whoever they are talking to so they can listen to you talking!
  2. Yep I have noticed this. Been to hicksville, pittsburgh plenty of times and the reaction there is hilarious, compared to places like florida here they don't bat an eyelid.
  3. thinking about taking a roadtrip from baltimore to pittsburgh next year to do some shooting
  4. When I was last there it was listed as the second highest murder rate in the US. Its a funny place as theres no clear division of safe zones. You can literally turn a corner and be somewhere you really dont want to be
  5. TCI EXPO 2015 | It Just Keeps Getting Better! its not on par with the apf IMO. Its predominantly arb focussed, and whilst they do have some awesome kit on display, the whole thing is hosted inside and nothing is being demonstrated. Its a good trip regardless though, and the night life in baltimore is always good...listening to gunshots throughout the night from the safety of your hotel room is always fun. Kinda like fireworks but with people dying
  6. grim. Be interested to know more details, ie how many ground crew, where they were standing. Time and time again I see ground crew who don't seem to appreciate that when it comes to our work, cars and pedestrians do not have the right of way, ever. Stop everything until you are given the go ahead by the climber/faller...that means physically standing in their path, not standing half hearted with a limp wrist politely asking them to stop. Still, no point speculating, but would still be interested to know the full story
  7. Petzl Elios or black diamond half dome. But I don't wear ear defenders which makes a big difference to sweat levels
  8. This is exactly how I read your post, but can equally see why some people got upset. I'm sure we can all move on from this
  9. Ouch. Were the blades the only thing damaged? Very lucky if they were
  10. 5m poison ivy lanyard spliced into a 3-way swivel krab, and art positioner
  11. Great pics Reg, sorry I couldn't make it. Will be at Baltimore next year though for sure
  12. Nothing here yet. Its been pretty blowy i'd be surprised if theres nothing down, specially with how wet the ground is
  13. Good article, agree with every word
  14. I have the original and it just says 201T so im guessing yours should be the m-tronic. Im sure someone else will confirm shortly though
  15. you don't have to buy the replacements that you misplaced, so by definition not robbery.
  16. They're running a business...i don't think £25 is out of the way. Its only tree surgeons who run round doing stuff for naff all
  17. nah they can be had pretty cheap. theres drones and theres drones though
  18. never had an issue with this climbing on geckos. What spikes are you wearing?
  19. Just as well you don't have a big car Darrin....dread to think how much crap you'd fill it up with if you did!!!
  20. taking your location into account, you don't count
  21. these jackets are taking a lot of abrasion, i doubt any fabric would fare any better
