    Thanks. The actual chimney itself should be fine, ive only had half a dozen fires on it, but im skint so looking to put it to more use this year My main concern is i'm pretty sure theres a nest up there, will rods deal with that?

    Surprised how you got through break discs? I sold my first navara with 53,000 miles on the clock, same break discs. My current one is up to 54,000 miles, still on the same discs

    Again, thats the old D22 model which is now 10 years old. One day people will move on from that!

    im guessing the D22. Not heard of major problems with the D40. Not had any bother with mine other than the 4wd switch corroding which is a common problem it seems.

    This might be a little controversial but conventional chainsaw training States we grip the saw firmly with thumbs wrapped around. After 18 years I have many many bad habits but one thing I observed the other day was how loose of a grip I actually have when using a chainsaw. I do not necessarily wrap my thumb, in fact most of the time I probably don't, instead holding the chainsaw however best it feels. So I was wondering how all this effects the onset of white finger, particularly interested in sufferers own evaluations of the grip/cutting style. I must state I'm not advocating my lax method of cutting at all

    Interesting what you have done with your lanyard there Ollie. I understand why you've done it, but do you really think there is a need with it being a secondary?
