    what jrose said really. I love the Stihls for their grunt and only own big Stihls even though I have had extensive experience with the husky equivelants. If I was a groundy doing a bit of snedding, or a forestry worker knocking out 12" diameter stems all day I think I would opt for one of the smaller husky saws over the Stihl.

    I have many plans for arbsafe, one of them being to make the asset list downloadable in a pdf format or similar. The thing is, I have invested a certain amount of money already and need to reach some sort of landmark in terms of activity before I can risk investing more funds. I am just one man with limited funds, perhaps a big company could have afforded to have done everything all at once, but unfortunately I can't.

    absolutely!! me and my brother grew up boxing every night when we we younger. he was older and bigger than me and i could never get the better of him, but he used to love winding me up to the point that i lost it and unloaded with everything i had. He would lay on the ground covering up and laughing his head off while i attempted to beat the crap out of him

    thats what its all about really as you say, if even one people has their stuff returned it would be worth it. I would love to have greater influence to make bigger changes, ie very harsh sentencing etc, but arbsafe is the best i can do

    you didn't, but equally you are putting forward lots of reasons why its a waste of time. Just trying to get to the bottom of why people aren't listing as much as I would have hoped

    they dont do that to all machines. So what im taking from this is regardless of anything, you are not interested in listing your gear. All good feedback anyway, cheers

    They find loads. and loads gets auctioned off because they cant trace the owners. Seems people would rather whinge on social media than try and do something to combat theft. I built arbsafe in good faith and at considerable ongoing expense. Its such a shame people won't put the effort in to list their gear.

    Stein 2001 here. Does what it says on the tin. Best thing about the fixed bollards is you can throw an absolute beginner groundie on them with reasonable confidence.

    I remember the years I spent in buckinghams....a few hours ringing down a big trunk was torture at times. The geckos are a luxury and worth every penny
