Model on the left page looks to be same as the old fuji robins, great hedgecutters if so. I desperately need to replace my hedgecutters before summer, this could be the model for me.
  2. I was getting a lot of server error emails while I was out. Home now, and am not getting any database errors myself
  3. Happy new year. Off to the furniture sales I go
  4. need is a bit strong. I climbed on a 3m lanyard for years, its more than adequate
  5. Happy new year to you to Jon and everyone. Logging off now and having movie night with the kids
  6. Looked like a lush job to finish the year off with mate, well done
  7. I think we have probably always been in the age of stupid, we just have more tools and methods to be stupid with now
  8. don't know, will ask. I expect if you approached most large haulage companies you'll probably get a result though
  9. Another option which one of my customers uses to cover their log piles is old lorry curtain sides. Can be picked up cheap and are VERY heavy duty
  10. Yep cheers. thats pretty much the same set up, but I used to use a shorter sling
  11. I am planning on doing a kit inspection before I go back to work. If I still have the shunt I will set it up and take pics
  12. I wish I had pics Joe, but from memory I had a 20cm tape sling with a biner on each end. One biner on the saddle, the other biner attached to the eye on the shunt and also the end of my rope. Was at a perfect length to hand over hand.
  13. To be confirmed, but i'm thinking about Jan 15th. A bit later than usual but the raffle was a lot later starting also.
  14. I actually switched from arb rope to climbing rope for a 2 year period. Used a Petzl shunt as an ascender/descender. Was highly frowned upon in that configuration but it worked really well. What rope are you planning to use with the cougar for the blakes hitch?
  15. Oh yes, it will behave entirely different, and be far easier to grip. Nylons hard on the hands!
  16. It sure does. Haven't added the latest donations but we aren't far off hitting the 4k mark
  17. I don't think you can beat a cube really.
  18. that was the year before, an exceptional year. Think the year before that was around the 7k mark. I hope we can at least reach 7k this year.
