  1. Spend less money. I've been a lot better this year, constantly asking myself if I really need to purchase something
  2. Well theres your problem. 11mm Dynamic you say, as in rock climbing rope? Rope climbing ropes outer sheath is nylon whereas proper arborist rope is polyester. nylon has a lower melting point than polyester and isn't designed for use with friction hitches. You'll be fine with the Cougar
  3. Oh, SRT, I am going to actually give it a proper shot in the new year as soon as funds allow.
  4. decorating, forgot that one. Its a job I hate. Did half the house this year and putting off doing the other half that desperately needs doing! Oh and really must re-felt the shed I'll also be quite happy if I can get through the year with no more a&e visits with Keeley Bullgirl
  5. def get a cambium saver, rope wear aside it will be a lot easier on your arms. Your blakes hitch will be what wears before your rope does. If you're that concerned you can minimize this from not doing any quick ascents....but then thats half the fun taken out of treework
  6. Yes, but its a raffle at the end of the day and anything can happen. Theres been at least 2 occassions where the top prize was won by people who only purchased 1 ticket. Theres also been plenty occassions where people who spent upwards of £50 or even £100 have walked away with nothing.
  7. I forgot about that one. 5 days in for me this time
  8. Indeed, and thanks for the correct spelling of abscess. Knew it wasn't right but couldn't be bothered to google the correct spelling
  9. 'Set within the stunning location of Old Warden Park in Bedfordshire, Shuttleworth College offers a wide variety of full-time and part-time courses. The courses make full use of the unique setting and the natural resources available, which include parkland, farm land, lakes and woodland. The college now offers Level 2 and 3 apprenticeship programmes in Trees and Timber, Environmental Conservation, Agriculture and Horticulture as well as NPTC certificates of competence. 13. Agree with this also. If he's dead set on keeping the neighbours happy I don't see a viable alternative really.
  14. I've been spending less and less time on facebook all year, productivity elsewhere benefits significantly. I should take the app off my phone, that would make a huge difference. Back on the Paleo for me aswell, also i'm starting the insanity workout this afternoon, although I know full well i'm not fit enough to even start it. its a 60 day programme. Going to do the first 30 days to get in shape then restart to complete the full 60 days, or at least thats the plan! Wishing you a better year mate
