  1. No idea about the kingcab, certainly no leaf springs on my double cab
  2. is it now, and you got this information from where?
  3. Picked up the NP300 yesterday. So far I love it, its a more comfortable drive than the Navara, and they have greatly reduced the body roll. Feels a far sturdier motor when cornering. Fuel efficiency already seems greatly improved but won't know how much till I get a few long journeys under my belt.
  4. It's a great saw Reg. Biggest differences for me is its considerably quieter than the husky. But it's the chain that really makes the difference. Nothing stopping you running that chain in the husky though I guess
  5. Theres a few doing it. The likes of stumpbusters however started up in the early days when stump grinders weren't quite as accessible as they are now. I think you'd be hard pushed to fill a week stump grinding as a new start. I suppose a lot will depend on your area though. Stefan on here(whose posts I have no doubt you have read) seems to be doing ok out of it in a relatively short time.
  6. Love this type of stuff Tom, will try find time to look at it properly tomorrow
  7. Hi Rob, Just picked up one of these today from one of your dealers. Would normally have purchased direct from you but it was a bit of an impulse buy. Bit more money that the regular bars obviously, but I have been well chuffed with the 25" bar on my 461 which is over 2 years old now and still going strong. Well worth the extra premium if this one lasts the same. You must be proud to be stocking such an awesome product

That looks a beast! Which model/cc is that saw?
  9. Good choice David, you won't be disappointed with how they perform long term either.
  10. Surely you'd want a bit of insulation anyway?
  11. They're both cool, the first one is far nicer though IMO. They can look real plush inside too. Is it Cedar?
  12. Thats worrying that a council of all people are taking that stance. I can understand a small 2 man band trying to save money, but councils should really be setting an example when it comes to things like this IMO
  13. Hi - We’ve got a new chipper to show you... It’s taken a little longer to produce than we would ideally like but hopefully you will see we have continued to listen to your feedback and worked hard to meet your expectations. Timberwolf TW 280TDHB Without the constraints of designing to sub 750kg (Timberwolf are world renowned for leading this class of chipper) we have been able to let our hair down a bit and really go to town on strength and performance; every switch, every control, every single part has been carefully considered to make ownership easier for you. The 280 delivers incredible reliability, ease of use, safety and efficiency. As you well know the competition for ‘best chipper’ is fierce and with recent models from Vermeer, Greenmech and Forst in the 8” category, rivalry is strong, therefore our machine had to be well considered to meet these modern challengers head on and come out on top. We have incorporated a super wide funnel, utilised huge crushing power and with a bigger feed aperture than the Greenmech Arborist 190 and the Forst ST8. The all new TW 280TDHB is most definitely worth a closer look. We even changed the shape of it! - Only a little bit though. The newest member of the Timberwolf pack is here and ready to be shown to you at the Arb Show on 4th and 5th June at The National Arboretum. We’d love to see you there and welcome the opportunity to show you the newest member of the pack! Visit the web page - Book a Demo - Give us a call 01449 765809
  14. that wild west jerky is crap. Tescos do a brand they market as billtong which isn't too bad. Stuff you find on the market is way ahead of the packaged stuff though. Must try that link Tommy posted. He's posted it several times before actually but I never got round to ordering. The fatty billtong is great for an energy boost for climbing
  15. I'd like to know also. I have a 20m hank actually, perhaps I'll give it a try
