    Dolmar

That's the only model of the new dolmars I've ever used albeit briefly. I was quite impressed
  2. Yeah, i've always been crap telling where the back is actually. Usually end up opening the door and sticking my head out when im reversing up against a wall or barrier or something
  3. I noticed today it shows a route you should follow, is that what you mean by helping with parallel parking?
  4. The model I got came with a reversing camera. Never felt the overwhelming need for a reversing camera before, but it comes in damm handy for reversing onto a chipper, the towbar is clearly visible on the screen and you can see exactly when its underneath the tow hitch
  5. Only ever have tools on the back. My second one never did any towing, first one did plenty though as I was still doing firewood back then.
  6. Unlike Silky, I far prefer the art rope guide to the pulley saver. Its a better finished product IMO
  7. Does that stand for Sloth Rope Technique?
  8. absolutely. 30 was the turning point for me. I could eat what I liked up till then
  9. You're already there quoting the job and putting what you want on it, if you have a grinder sitting in the yard doing nothing you can afford to offer the extra service at a competitive rate. Customers happy, and you have a little bonus on the job
  10. You have to wonder! Weather is ridiculous. Was lush here earlier, pretty much t-shirt weather, then we had hail
  11. They're a good motor, nothing boring about them at all
  12. Thats pretty much what I was getting, but I would need to travel a good distance on the open road to hit that. Looking forward for my first long drive (50+) in this to see what I can hit.
  13. Don't think that will affect me, u only carry saws and climbing gear
  14. Took the words out of my mouth . Have had zero repairs on my last nav over the 4 years I owned it
  15. They are one of my least favourite trees to work on Andrew
  16. thats all a bit technical for me mate, but if you're referring to the engine size its a 2.3. Seems to have more grunt than the previous 2.5 though
  17. This is just on a short 12 mile trip, massive improvement
  18. I think they are pretty equal in regards power Reg, but as I said, its the smaller pitch chain that makes the Stihl stand out for me, and I believe the battery life is better also. Im not sure if Husky have newer more powerful batteries available now though.
  19. No I don't consider it noisy. Its 'whinier' than the Stihl though and over a prolonged period I would probably opt to use ear plugs. Like I said, the Stihl is considerably quieter.
