Being thrown out of the AA may be a bit harsh initially, perhaps a suspension until results of investigation come out.

They are definately on my list of dodgy fells - lots of butt rot , heavy fluting at base of trunk , poorly anchored crown growth, brittle branches etc K


( Did four 70-90 footers n nerly soiled oneself on the last rotten hinge I had to use ;) )

Am I right in thinking there’s a rope from the pop to the van with the intention of pulling it over? 


If so why not spike the thing and drop it in sections?


Eh well, arb approved too aren’t they?
