Matty, from what I've read, the majority of people paying normal council tax rates would be largely unaffected. People with big houses can always afford tree work, they're just shrewd. That's why they've got big houses...

From my experience that is not the case , the first thing to go would be any tree work or landscaping ideas.. also most of these folk are people who are already mortgaged up to the hilt , obviously I'm not talking about the occasional large land owner but if it hits over 10 million homes as it's predicted it will be a disaster.

I guess we're shafted either way then.

Muttley and Dan are you talking about this video? I cant open that FB page....if so, the use of the Jihadi Next Door documentary clips are entirely legitimate in the context of the video.

And by the way, if it is this video, Tommy Robinson is one of the few people in Britain who has consistently spoken out for years about the rise of hate preaching Islamists in the UK, his speech at the Oxford Union has changed many people's previous opinions of him. His Rebel Media videos on exposing Islamism in the UK have received millions of views worldwide.

Very few people would have to courage to do what he does.

If the land is valued less than the property it will be the properties value that is taxed.

LVT will also be reviewed yearly if the prices go up so does the tax.

There is no decided percentage yet however people are guessing it will be 3%. That said 1% would be an increase for me.

Businesses will be hit hard think restaurant with big car parks, Asda Tesco, cafes, arb yards!!!!

How many houses can we fit on that bit of land?

LVT scares me it's one policy I hate the idea of it, if he was a people person LVT would only apply to properties valued over £1m and business with xyz on the profit line.

I don't think either party is perfect by any stretch!
