We also need to up our Foreign Aid and assist the real needy in their own countries. We can’t keep accepting refugees, even those with a legitimate claim.
Probably most of the developing countries population fit that criteria.

I am pretty sure it was David Cameron who said that a Syrian refugee in the Uk costs £68,000 per year to the taxpayer, as opposed to £1500 in Foreign Aid if they where helped in their own Country.

Well to be serious again.

One of the most inconvenient and uncomfortable truths for those against taking more robust action, is that by doing nothing the government itself and all the 'aid' agencies involved are actively supporting the growth of one of the most vile, grotesque, and despicable activities in existence, namely people trafficking.

This fact should be thrown back much more often in the faces of the bleeding heart types who whinge and moan every time there's a suggestion of clamping down on what is going on.

Just do what every other EU country seems to do, not a resident = zero benefits.

Exceptions maybe made but they must be reviewable and those okaying made fully accountable.

Free flights home, no passport required.

And for these do-gooders, where does the funds come from and maybe make it an accessory crime?.

If you rent and pay tax in England your tax goes to the government. The government then funnels that tax to a corporation, that corporation now has almost £3 billion.

The corporation then uses that £3 billion to offer extremely generous offers to landlords to house immigrants. In effect,  landlords now have a strong incentive to evict the tax paying Brits in their property and instead house the immigrants.

The British people are despised by the people who rule over us. There’s simply no other way to describe it.
