My Daughter get the School bus to school. Hour journey as we're out in the sticks and it does the milk run. So far she tells me they have at least so far stuck to it, and the Scottish schools have been back for a fair few weeks now.

My daughter has been back for a week now and yesterday the fire alarm went off and they all had to stand together on the field ?!?!

My sister is a teacher for a year 1 class outside Newcastle, 2 days back and her co worker gets tested positive so the whole class are all back home for 14 days! Primary school near me, 60 kids all sent home cos someone tested positive.

so much so for back to school!

Dont the boffins say that the chance of catching The Big Rona outside is drastically reduced compared to indoors hence why Beer Gardens and other outdoor activities where one of the first to be reintroduced and masks have never been a requirement outdoors either.

As long as there is no tonsil tennis behind the bike shed Im sure the kids will be perfectly safe.

Its criminal to destroy these children's education and potentially their future based on nothing other than fear.

The couple were on a 20-mile trip from their home in Knaresborough to a caravan dealer in Thirsk.

Could not make this up  [emoji15] K
On the one hand they really shouldn't be driving, let alone towing a caravan.

On the other hand with a caravan at least they can stop and make a cup of tea on the 117 hour journey to Scarborough.

Good job they weren't towing a caravan  as it would have taken a lot longer than 17 hrs

I was thinking as well, it says he went up the verge at 0440 hours. I'd be driving up the verge after spending 14 hours behind the wheel, getting that far is a remarkable achievement.

Especially as his wife probably spent 13 hours saying they should stop and ask someone for directions, but no he refused point blank. Now that's super stubborn.

96. They don't make them like they used to.
