Whether it's reviewing the Bank of England's remit, or simply more oversight, reform can’t be put off...

Interesting that it’s one of the first articles that recognises the effect the speech in question, had rather than the initial muted reaction to the so called mini budget.

I appreciate that your location means you're at the focal point of one aspect of UK immigration. But seen as a whole, we don't take many. Go to Devon for instance, and it's a much less diverse affair.

The point you may not have grasped though J, or chosen to ‘overlook’ is that there’s a large proportion of SWUK residents that WANT it just the way it is.

That may possibly be the case, but there is a huge labour shortage and no prospect of rectifying that. How do you tackle that without additional people?

There are a thousand other points to make but I'm wiped and going to bed! 😁

What labour shortage? No such thing.

There are already more people than jobs.

Square pegs need to be banged into round holes.

Just adding more people is no way to solve the problem, imore people is the exact opposite of what is needed.

Cut benefits to the point that working is the only viable option?

I posted on here a few years ago about doing a lot of work for two Albanians, one was in finance in the City, the other was an eye surgeon in Norfolk, they owned pretty much all the car washes around that part of Suffolk. Always paid well. One once said to me, I can do what I want to do back home, money covers it. I thought it was a worrying statement.

Diane Abbot is a legit psychopath, imagine being one of her constituents who voted for such a grotesque vile and stupid bitch. Abbot is so stupid and devoid of intelligence she can’t even form a basic leftist socialist critique of the migrant crisis, so she just tweets out this hideously dumb takes like this. Your taxes pay for this monster -
