As you well know, he's not outraged at whatever you're outraged at. He's (rightly IMO) despairing at the absolute cesspit this thread has become, pretty much because of you. 🤷‍♂️I wasn’t here all day yesterday yet popped back on in the early hours to a pure load of totally irrelevant shite posted by the normal ATL types. Like I said previously my political stance doesn’t blind me unlike some.  
I’ll consider your opinion 👍🤔actually ignore that, I won’t as is everyone’s prerogative.

That's the exact opposite point the cartoon is making. Let's say your arbtalk character nemesis StimepedP42 is a full on communist, a position I abhor. Their house smells of fags and the children have sticky fingers. I'd far rather go there and attempt, fail or not, to find common ground or convince them of the virtues of my position. Whereas let's say I share your opinion on most matters and we would both enjoy an afternoon clanging steels with a 223. I'd at this point take the communist because you make your position, whatever it is, feel unattractive by association. That doesn't mean I can't objectively view your opinions as what they are and put aside the source but the source will always factor in a bit. We're not 100% objective, utterly unemotional, utterly rational beings.

Some people don’t want to listen to others views , in reality why should they. The matters at hand here that upset the ATL are way past the point of let’s talk about it. 
I tend to shoot alone and not at steel nowadays, I probably wouldn’t enjoy your company, we agree on that at least.

You serious ?? Have a look back at a succession of any posts I’ve made and you tell me who in particular is 9 times out of 10 on it in jig time !!, yesterday when I wasn’t even around being a classic example, but that’s totally fine as it is at the end of the day the internet and an open forum, I’m not whinging about it, it’s all part of the game.
There is shit loads I pass by that doesn’t interest me or my opinions ain’t that strong on.

1) So that the recyclers only have one piece of plastic to deal with?  I don't believe that

Same thing happened with drinks cans, newer design so that the tab 'won't' come off. We got used to them too.

 

Will make a big change here when I pick up the rubbish in the street - bottle caps ground into the mud are a pain to dig out.

 

 

 

Sorry, meant to fight you.... hate them, change is unnecessary and always a bad thing when driven by the EU and all the hippy green types. I demand the ability to remove them so I can spread my litter in smaller pieces around the countryside.
