The situation with the NC500 is quite comedic.

 

It has been heavily promoted by the councils and government as a tourist attraction, and yet they're not prepared to heavily invest in equipping it with the necessary infrastructure to accommodate them.

 

The roads need to be upgraded, the campsites need to be expanded and upgraded and regular facilities should be installed. The tourist demand isn't going to go away, and nor should it. It brings much needed employment to an otherwise remote and economically challenged part of Scotland.

I saw the documentary that showed an ex Navy pilot telling the story of his "tapes" of flying objects that he could not define or understand that were downloaded to a computer on the carrier he flew from being confiscated by the CIA . They actually came aboard and took everything away .

I never said there’s nothing out there, but I do love it when there’s some kind kerfuffle about aliens and all the Trekkies start wetting their pants in excitement.

Nope no hyperbole as you put it at all Mick, you threw the first derisory Moonbat comment in to take it to that point. Where’s the pants wetting Trekkies you speak of 🤷‍♂️?? I certainly don’t see no hysteria surrounding the hearings. I think most people are genuinely interested in the facts as given by the likes of the pilot mentioned. That’s my take on it. 
I’ll digress and mention many moons ago on exercise with the army I lay in a dossbag at night in the pitch black on the edge of the rift valley in Africa, zero light pollution pure silence and not a cloud in the sky, the number of stars etc were just incredible to gaze up at, I don’t think our minds are capable of taking in the vastness of what’s out there. 
Enough of that crap 🤷‍♂️I need to stop looking for any excuses to ignore the studying I’m supposed to be getting on with .
