How so?
I'm yet to see anything positive about the way the gov has conducted themselves. I'm happy to be enlightened though.

Spot on.

We were so slow to react even though others nations got hit hard before us for us to learn from.

First call is lets try herd immunity and sacrifice at least half a million of us to save the economy even though no other nation had tried this (I wont be forgetting this when we next have elections). Then massive backtrack when they realise maybe the public dont want to sacrifice our older generation and a pile of youngsters to save a few bob. Then we are playing catchup with widespread transmission amongst the population. Probably the worst handling of this from any 1st world nation.

Not so unhappy with the direction now but why we ignored it for so long was bewildering.

Germany was already in a recession, its was going to only get deeper with the UK leaving the EU, with Covid its gonna push Germany over the Cliff. With Germany falling off the Cliff deaths directly linked to this will surely follow. And I agree with you, Deaths are the real statistic but its way to early to say the tally has been counted. Only after all the data has been extrapolated, at a time in the future when we can draw a line under Covid -19 can we fully corrolate and confirm real statistics. : )

Speculation that’s all, what you think will happen that support your narrative.

Not a single real fact to support it.

In fairness I reckon the US has taken that crown.

Speculation that’s all,

Speculation is all we have right now. Until such a time as all the facts can be gathered and verified at a date in the future we're all just guessing. We're in the middle of the pandemic, we might not even be that far through yet you seem to have it firmly in your mind you have all the answers for today and the future of this. So I'll ask you, what facts are you using to support your conformation bias?

They really are an exception to the rule. We can surely look to emulate their response next time around. I think the answer lies in each represented countries Scientific Advisors. Germany's where right, the British Scientists where initially wrong.

Interestingly their economy is set to tank significantly more than ours will. This will cost a lot of lives in the long run.

You freely admitted here that we should emulate them, Germany’s (scientific advisors) *were right

Yet now you ask ME for facts?

No, Im saying their actions up till now their actions, in hindsight, should have been emulated and can potentially be used in the future as a textbook reaction to a pandemic we've never had in living memory. But that is clearly not the whole picture. The whole picture will only be seen after we can draw a line under all the deaths caused by Covid-19 and this will include deaths due to economic collapse and such deaths as Cancer Patients not getting the screening or treatment they require due to prioritising Covid patients. Right now Germany is leading the way in Europe but once the full repercussions of the economic recession is fully accounted for globally maybe Germany wont look so rosy. This is of course speculation, but again, we're maybe not even half way though this thing so you and I are purely speculating. :)

You are, that’s for sure.

Yes, we are. Only a fool would think they have all the answers midway through something. You've clearly made your mind up and nothing will change that. Thats the stance of a retard, the more you post the more you confirm that.  :)

Given that you freely admit you're not up to GCSE maths, I think your crunching of the numbers is irrelevant.

" Thankfully my Wifes the smart one out of us so she's been very studious with the kids. As shes also doing her Degree from home she's been able to help our 16 year old with maths and Physics, something Id not have a clue in. "
