Best result there would have been for the car driver to crush the assailant between his car and a nearby building.

Sounds like a reasonable level of response to the immediate threat of severe harm or death.

As long as you don't reverse backwards and forwards over him it's all good.

What a truly dreadful, biased, fake news output from BBC News at One:

Headline - Treasury / OBR report reveals Brexit negative impact on UK wealth / growth

Literally 30 Seconds earlier on Politics Live (BBC 2), the report was noted as being “...not worth the paper it’s written on...” by O’Niel.

Along with the ommissions and unfounded assumptions highlighted within the report by serious observers / commentators, there was still no mention, within the forecasts, of the potential collapse of individual EU state member national economies nor the possible +/- effects of being more or less obliged to bale them out from within the EU or not.

Go figure ?

Whilst on the subject of EU, anyone else coming around to the idea that EU insesant Eastward expansion delivers a global destabilising effect on world peace?

If Russian annexation of Crimea didn’t make you ponder, how about the latest round of escalations and direct aggression?

Still think the beast that is the EU is a good idea with Ukraine looking to the EU to further censure Russia?

Talk about a self perpetuating tragedy (face-palm)

I'm amazed we haven't got a good deal already, Nigel Farage said it would be so easy.. be done in minutes....   As to the BBC, I've figured it out..  Media companies want clicks, they also take a side to guarantee a percentage of the viewing audience..   CNN go for the left leaning voter FOX for the right leaning..  The BBC has taken sides, the remain side.   its what they're all doin and have done for a while...  so no surprise they bend the narrative in the remainer's favour..

As to the Eastward expansion of the EU..  just as Britain has chosen to to leave the EU the Eastern States have a choice to join..  its not their fault if they have a murderer in the Kremlin who is willing to use violence to stop em..

If they want to join we should make it happen, and if Putin thinks he can do something about it, well we have nukes too..  he might want to be reminded of that on occasion..

Mama, he’s making eyes at me: Lena Zavaroni (consent issues)
