For the winners in the x factor that would be a lousy bit of advice :laugh1:

Bob

No, they have ability along with their passion, its their ability that brings the success, not the passion.

Your better working where your ability lies and having your passion as a hobby, if the two are in different areas.

Now that's debatable, haha!

If they are all crap someone still has to win!

Picked this up on the Treehouse.

This guy articulates a lot of what I think is wrong these days, what do you guys think about it?

Why is he offering advice to strangers? He spent the first few minutes telling us how stupid it was to offer vaguely useless advice to strangers then spends the rest of the video offering vaguely useless advice to strangers.

No one will remember anything from that video 5 minutes after watching it other than his ridiculous face and baseball hat. He looked like that Canadian comedian who used to always be on whose line is it anyway?

It's classic treehouse fodder right enough. They lap that kind of inane trash right up.

hahahahaha i think it was the comedian Ryan Stiles

You missed the point Tim his advice is not to take any advice

I have always agreed with that sentiment that your passion won't make you money, loads of advice will tell do work in something you love and you will never work a day in you live, total pish, as soon as it becomes a routine it becomes work then if you are earning nothing your passion will soon fade….
