Anyone ever get to the bottom of the 2511 needing a bit throttle when warm starting? Kinda pisses me off that it needs that.

Have tweaked the L screw and the tick over a bit to no avail.

Ferkin loving it apart from that

Mines the same , the old one I had last time I did that job with you near Alnwick was the same also ! Seems to get a lot worse when the Tank gets to about 1/4 full... which isn’t long !
Adjusting seems to fix for about 10 minutes.

Anyone get problems with run on when you come of the throttle? Mine's been benched for months and I'm back to using my 201t for everything until I get round to sending it away.

Happens when you've been using it frequently for around half a tank

Send it in again, will get it pressure and vacuum checked then boil the carb and get it reset. I have seen a few of these Echos have some strange carb issues, almost like the carb wasn't quite matched too well with the saw but have also sorted most of the issues one way or another!

Text me once boxed and will let you know when to get it in.

Probably needs a bit of sushi!

Will do mate, I've been waiting on an appropriate sized box but I guess ill have to stop being tight and buy one.

Last time that saw came back smelling like a poof's armpit, I trust you've moved on to a manlier hand wash?

I sprayed it with a bit of perfume as someone said you would like it, can't remember who! I will need the bar and chain - just get a wine box from your local supermarket or off-licence.

Mine will start with the brake on. Just either get a bit chain creep/ won't idle on the strop/ won't start without a bit throttle.

Not the end of the world I know as pretty easy to start/pull but would be nice if it just behaved like a normal saw.

Still seem to pick it up over the ms 150. Which isn't a twat to start.

What's annoying as said it only seems to do it after 1/2 an hour or so, so hard to sort it at home in the workshop.
