How was your day?

E6z its going in a six acre private lake for a month or two to winch out all the willow and general crap and commotion with the view to chip as much as possible up the banks. Then into the Thames for the rest of the year clearing up stuff hanging into the water around moorings.

Its a narrowboat we converted about fifteen years ago. I have got a fair bit of floating Arby stuff, I will post up some pics of it.

Just got back from the Treekit arb first aid course. A really enjoyable day - learnt quite a lot, had a surprise test at the end and a chance to look round all the shiny stuff in the shop. Day was made all the better with a chippy lunch :-)

I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't done a first aid course, or as a back up to one that was more mainstream and not arb focussed.

SHOCKING DAY ......unearthed a redundant ( but still live )street light cable 3ft behind customers Privet hedge 4"below ground level with micro digger............big bang theory .

I spent over Hour tracing house utilities only to find that cable after a 150 yard dig and last 3ft of the dig for a new water main across a large garden .
