wait on a nice day and have a stab at it, I suspect the key to be determination.

No rope, nothin...

Just get in an tell yourself you ain't comin down till you've reached the top..Oh, I don't know if your slightly overweight, but if you are, get on a diet till you've lost a few pounds.

Amazing how much easier these things are when you ain't dragging up an extra kilo you can do without..

Are you a climber??

Are you a climber??

Am I a climber? err, thats debatable..

Do the odd tree, though never roped up one yet... though I have gone to the trouble of buyin a few odds and sods to do a bigger tree, one of my customers wants a coupla of tree's in her garden doin this spring..

So I thought, what the heck, I'm being paid a few hundred for doin em so might as well get meself some climbing tackle..

Got a zigzag, already had some rope and bought a harnes just last week.

I've bin practicing haulin myself up an down a tree on our place, bloody hard work though...

Which brings me to why I said you should lose a bit of weight.. I found it easier to pull myself up the rope after a day or two of not stuffin myself..

Oh by the way, only ever climbed trees freestyle, though a bit dodgy, easier in that nothin gets in the way... ropes snagging on stuff, that sort of thing..

does that qualify me as a climber? hahah
