Look bud, this isn't a pissing contest you want to have. Quite a few of us here have been in the firewood and farming game for longer than I care to think about.

I may have many issues, daddy ones no. My general issue is the NFGiven to people that think they know better, I'm sure one of the other guys to reply works for the DNO at times.

Unless the line has been moved since streetview, it seems to go right over the driveway. Obviously hard to judge distances etc.

Powerlines and timber lorries are never a great combination

A Skye haulier was electrocuted escaping from his burning lorry, a fatal accident inquiry in Inverness is told.

"Power had to be switched off for a short time to allow rescue workers to access the scene, cutting the electricity supply to every property in the Western Isles and Skye.

The inquiry heard that firefighters found Mr MacKinnon's body about 10m (33ft) from his vehicle.

The only clue then that he had been electrocuted was a hole in his boot. A post mortem later revealed that an enormous power surge had killed him."

Apparently the first calls for help was from someone many miles away who could see a plume of black smoke coming from the hill so called the fire brigade

Nice straight grained sycamore yesterday and this morning before the heat got too much for me. The winter 2025 store is almost full - another four barrow loads and I’ll be done 👍 All split using X25
