Hints of Spring

With all this mild weather , it seems things are getting a bit confused , I've noticed the birds singing during the day as if it's spring and reducing a birch that was covered in catkins, anyone else noticed this ?

Keen frost this morn, cold easterly rain tonight, not much sign of Spring here!❄️

Just put some lights in a lilac that is starting to burst its buds...

Some blue tits were fighting over the nesting box this morning, pear tree got new leaves on and the rhubarb starting to sprout.

I've got raspberry and passion flower in the garden still flowering...

Fruit trees will suffer when we do get a frost ,,,,,

Yep.

 

One frost so far, wake up to a dawn chorus and daffs are in flower in town. Simply bonkers and no signs of winter in the long term forecast for the south, in fact they are talking about this week getting warmer.
