You know you’ve pushed your luck when you contemplate unloading a few sticks to get through (but would definitely rather not)...

Once you are forced to unload a bit of weight as you’ve tried all your little ‘off road driving god’ tricks to no avail, you become very aware that you’ve been a bit optimistic/silly!

Once you have emptied the trailer entirely and still can’t get out of the hole you start contemplating any other possible way of making a living!!!

(Or is this just me?!)

I skip straight to stage 4 with this one when my bottom step was no longer visible and my drawbar was on a stump [emoji24]
Fully unload, swing as far forward as possible so hopefully can reach from the track and deploy the winch.
Still had to use a pulley to double up and a high set to lift the front end up the 2ft step onto the hard track.
Cost me about a hour nd a half in time and a takeaway on the way home to feed my friend who had picked my kids up from school and was watching them till I got home as she couldn't be arsed to go home and start cooking.

No photos I'm afraid but know it is a true story from a few days ago

Farmer friend goes away on holiday, leaves son in charge.

Game keeper goes off with Landie and becomes stuck in the woods.  Farmers son goes off with Teleporter, it also becomes stuck.  150 hp 4WD tractor with chain also becomes stuck.  Second Teleporter sent in, you've guessed it

Right time for the big boy, big Caterpillar rubber track,  yes also stuck.

Another friend with a winch tries to pull from the road but no straight pull as trees are in the way........fail

Professional firm came with proper equipment,  Farmer friend has not confessed the bill yet!
