Spectrum plant a good for Timberwolf. Another thing to consider is having a spare set to put in while you get the others ground. It's all a business expense so goes against your tax. Why scrimp on an expensive bit of kit??

It costs me £4 per set of blades at a company 5 miles away who specialize in sharpening machine knives for recycling plants, no postage etc. i have 4 sets for each machine and i try take as many as i can.

That old clunker of ours will do flat or hollow ground, the grinding head turns on the king post and the water is pumped onto the stone. Its fully automatic and can do six blades at a time in under five minutes. Its more than paid for itself and even earns a few quid doing other contractors blades.

Spectrum plant offer a free post service to send blades and then it's £8.50 for return postage regardless of how many blades you get done. 230 blades are £12 plus vat per blade. 150 are £5.50 per blade and Jensen are £15 per blade.

Oh didn't realise they did anything but timberwolf, switched to a Jensen so was gonna try Saturn knives but always used spectrum in the past and had good service. Will get onto them unless anywhere comes in at a better price than £15 a blade?
