Course it isn't true, he shaves it and then makes bull ropes out of it. Waxing made it too slippery to handle properly.

Well the best motto I have heard recently is "do one dangerous thing every day, otherwise your not living" haha not sure I agree with it, but it's important to push yourself in reason or we would never get any better. When you are a contract climber it's hard to know what the company is used too, usually a bad job but fast, I have noticed, that can be a challenge when your trying to do a correct reduction and there expecting you to knuckle the whole tree to get it done fast. Take downs are easier to judge as you can only go a certain speed when rigging. Monday I have a huge ash to dismantle for a company I have never climbed for before, the first one is always the most interesting lol
