I have noticed alot more vehicles with the warning sign for cyclists, is this a legal requirement now?

I think it is going to be soon (e.g. september) and probably london only(?)

It,ll make no difference, if they can't see dirty great big signs, high vis tape, jackets and blazing led beacons, they won't see a shitty little light.

 

Plus if they are thick enough to go up the inside of a turn left vehicle they need running over as part of natural selection, I don't want to live in a world full of stupid people, putting stickers on lights isn't going to make things any better. Saving these people is just diluting the gene poole.

A lot of London lorries also have an audible warning when turning left now.

Our Biffa driver had a new truck with one of those lights this week. Its also has a speaker on the left which tells the cyclist that the vehicle is turning left, activated every time the vehicle indicates left.

 

Reg, the driver is not well chuffed due to the complaints he is getting in town from residents near his collection points at 5.00 am, as it cannot be turned off, nor his reversing bleeper.

A lot of site`s are wanting hauliers delivering to them to be FORS http://www.fors-online.org.uk registered, one of the requirements is the warning signs for bikes, hence seeing a lot more of them, plus I guess a lot fitting them off there own back due to the increase in accidents with bikes.
