Lost a link and track came off. Only seems to happen when they're balls deep. Then snapped my winch cable pulling it out the muck, then the engine cut out,filters blocked. Should have stayed in bed

All my things that run on red seem to be getting blocked filters in this recent cold spell. Genny,tractors,chipper,digger. 

 

See through filter is waxy af,when brought inside it liqifies fine. 

 

Does anybody add anything to their red?

Petrol mix?antigelling agent?

Most waxing is down to the water content Bill, made worse with low fuel levels because of water content as a percentage. Not hard to check holding tanks and machines, there is a paste called Kolorkut , smear a bit on a stick and dip the tanks, it shows up water within as a red marker.

Imagine the amount in a 25ltr tub then dumped into a machine!

It’s was a demo Chris, I put the water/diesel in the bottle to show the paste working.
