All fixed and back at work. They re-made quite a bit as it past a simple welding job. Also squeezed in some reinforcements underneath as space is tight when you turn. Not cheap but nothing ever is and doubt it was an easy job getting it all apart

That’s some messy welding.

Not really broken, but non working anyway!

A friend's esab welding helmet with a flat battery.

As is often the case, you need to take the thing to bits, and the battery is soldered on to the circuit board. They don't want you changing the battery!

Previously I have soldered in new batteries, but on this one I got a cheap little external battery holder for a CR2032 cell, which is slightly smaller, soldered that to the circuit board, made a hole for the wires, and stuck the holder to the helmet.

Bent a set of qfit tines. Valtra trailer plug cover broke and the one with the fancy connector that just quick fits is on back order. JD6155 pickup hitch push back tube welds cracked and needed replacing. Valtra's water pump went but thanks to being cold it was a quick spot so hopefully no big damage. Oh and Friday morning the telehandler pump feed split. FML.

Finally got my gx390 from my tracked dumper running again. After replacing the coil then the switch and key assembly with no progress, last night I realised that 2 of the wires are black and easily fitted the wrong way round. Turned them round, job done👍👍

Putting it all back together tomorrow.
