Had 4 numbers once, havnt played it for years now.

Im convinced that 'lucky dips' are biased towards generating the least likely numbers to win & wouldnt be at all surprised if the entire thing was fixed.

I got 4 numbers and won £140 once and had a £10 every now and then. I've now been doing it so long that I'm terrified of not doing it!!

My mate's mum played the same numbers every week, missed it one week as she would have won £17k.

Used to be in a work sydicate, didn't win, left work, played on my own, didn't win. So now i put cash into premium bonds. At least that way i get to keep the stake money......!

I do two numbers on the lotto wed and sat with very little return. The upside is that it gives me something to dream about.

I started doing the Euromillions a few months back and have doubled my money so far with the odd few quid every now and then.

Its nice to get that email "news about your ticket"

Here's where I stand. This has been in my wallet for a couple of weeks now. I buy about 2 scratchcards a year but don't do the NationaLottery Jackpot thingy...I'm a bit of a realist on certain matters and when I found out the odds of winning the Jackpot were the same as being struck by lightning 4 times in one day..........I realised I probably wouldn't win it....so I don't do it. When I by my bi-yearly ticket, I keep it safe...occassionally remembering I have it and if....just if that chance I might just......win! Gives me a little glimmer of pleasure at what I could do.....and for me its a simple dream.....donate a chunk....give my family a chunk....and buy a truck and chipper so I could live the rest of my life earning a decent living.... when I do decide to scratch it I have a particular way (which annoys the hell out of my son), I scratch a small portion and return it to my wallet....it can sometimes take me days to completely scratch it but in that time depending on what is revealed I can dream every time I think about it....Strange behaviour I know...but that's me.....Money probably wouldn't agree with me......and this gambling habit costs me about £2 per year!

Good luck to all who get tickets. Never done it myself so no chance of a win but might've saved £1000s over the years. Camelot do some good with the money but from what I hear they also waste a load on 'good causes' much like our wonderful:sneaky2: politicians.
