Due to the most stupid rules about mortgages, Im looking for work on the cards until Septemeber-Mid September have got old school Lantra Maintenance, cross cut and small fell, and new version NPTC. have used saw for 20 odd years with me hedgelaying Feet like to be firmly on the ground, but happy chipper feeding, ground works striming, ride on, ferris/skagg, PA1&6 old school driving licence so can tow over 750 C19 has mucked things right up for us looking for contract saying X amount pro rata to gain mortgage come September till Feb Im booked up so far, but need something for the remaining summer season Dorset based ideally but happy to work away cheers all

  5. Another garden hedge done in between not being able to get across fields at the moment, always good to have a couple like this to fall back on. Had been laid before but Dorset/Devon style low to the ground, compared to its new look South of England style
  6. Today's job, nice road side hedge, opened up the garden, sorted out a tired and gappy hedge, will rejuvenate and great environment for nature. Tomorrow carry on down the road in to a not so nice section.
  7. Depending on species, Salix great for binders.

  10. Go and do some competitions in your area, your land owners will be about there most of the time, (even if just catching up with friends) there see who's doing what, get few wins under your belt and your name starts to be known.

  15. Havent been on for ages but just a couple from the 2600m odd meters from this season, last pic just need the stake tops taking off. Then a couple with the regrowth coming on 4 months later

  19. 19th Nov 2016.Myself and a couple of others from this site were luck enough to get an invite to the Patron Hedgelaying Competition. A good day was had by all. HRH walked round & chatted with everbody and was then around while the results are given out. There was a Youngsters/Novice class this yr and he was very keen to encourage them to pursue the craft.. Well done to them all
  20. 2 different styles requested on this job, 1st 2 Dorset , requested to open up the views over the hills and to the SW, the other 2 South Of England, to Lay the hedge but retain more height and cover to the drive way and garden...................................................Give up trying to get then round the right way:thumbdown:, seeing as they are in my Gallery !!!!!!!!
  21. A few horse jumps to start the year with, hence flat top stakes just in case any fallers.. & a before and after on the last 1............. Question couple of pic's Ive deleted upon preview due to not coming out right way round ... Even though there loaded the right way reasons anyone cheers ??
